I'm not fond of those vendors at the mall who relentlessly insist you buy their stuff, and in the past, I've had to fend off some pretty aggressive salespeople. Well, not today. One of them said "Hi" with a smile like always, and I returned the greeting because I'm polite. Well, he tried to hand me something and I said "No, thanks" in Russian and he didn't say another word as I walked away victorious. I would have used Spanish but that's like everyone's first language here. So that's a little tip for y'all as well :)
