With the approaching deadite down for the count, at least for the time being anyway, the Valeyard whirled round to fire on the machine. He did this not out of a concern for the human that had distracted it, he couldn't have cared less really, but out of a desire to not be riddled with holes. While he could always regenerate, he wasn't quite ready for such an eventuality presently.
