As much time as he spent giving the vampire grief, you'd think he'd have bothered learning more about her kind. If not out of casual interest, then atleast doing his duty as knight who wielded a supposedly holy relic of the sun goddess.

A memory he wasn't eager to repeat anytime soon (not that he'd back down if the challenge WAS issued).
