It seemed the women didn't mind Eric being there. At least they weren't openly hostile. Though they didn't say much, so he couldn't be certain. The reporter adjusted his hipster glasses and glanced back toward the fence. He detected no sights or sounds of running Pokemon. Maybe the wild Pokemon would've left him alone, anyway, and all this work and awkwardness was for nothing. "If you don't want me nosing around here, would you mind directing me to the shortest way out? I can leave right away." Eric shifted to stand up but winced as he put his full weight on a pained ankle. The reporter eased back to the ground. "...I can leave in a few more minutes."
