Emily gave a slightly frustrated sigh. 
"Sarah, who owns this place by the way, has a strict screening process. We only adopt out a few times a year, and only at certain festivals. The ones who are looking to adopt have to fill out paperwork and everything before they can take them home. Sarah does not take any chances. I do not know more than I do since I simply work here."

She froze when her ivysaur was suddenly out of his pokeball. 
"Ivysaur!"
She gasped and tried to coax him back into his pokeball. She failed, but she managed to calm him down. 



She looked at Eric. 
"Sorry about Ivysaur. He must have heard you from inside his pokeball. He has a...protective personality. He has been that way since he was a little bulbasaur."
