It was then that he noticed the officers aiming their guns, though with the chaos going on around him he could easily make his escape, provided he was quick enough.

Which he most certainly was.

It wasn't exactly dignified looking, an older man like him running down the street like a duck due to the items he was carrying, but it let him get round the corner and away. That's what really mattered. Coming to his TARDIS, he hastily unlocked the door and stepped inside, closing and locking it behind himself after placing his stolen bounty on the floor. With that done, he picked up the monitor and wiring once more as he set off for the workshop.
