[@Savo] Pidgey flew about with Aster, and dodged Powder Snow because that’s the one attack that came flying. Spheal’s aim was completely off and almost hit his trainer, the partner’s Grimer and a Wild Petilil that was just flying by out of sheer coincidence. Aster got close enough to Absorb a couple of times, and eventually it became too much. Spheal fainted! ‘Nice!’ Chloe called for the interaction. ‘Now, just-’ Then Pidgey dropped Aster straight into Grimer all on his own. ‘- not that!’ Still, a couple gusts later, and probably Aster helping in some form or another, Grimer would faint, too. ‘W-we won’t forget about this!’ the white-haired called. ‘We’ll be back!’ the red-haired also called, as they beamed back their Pokémon and started running. Velvet grew to level 10! Pidgey could still escort them to town.

Highhill Town
Highhill Town is a small, lively place that has seemingly stood atop this hill from time immemorial and never really changed. The atmosphere in Highhill Town is much fresher than surrounding places, the buildings are older and the work as honest as ever. The old town is populated by elders and younglings aplenty, and the town has a culture of their own. Plenty of Pokémon assist with the work, either as work-force or the animals that work is being done on. One usually only crosses Highhill Town on a trip to or from Pureplain City. Regardless, it is a place of beauty. The fields around it are cultivated by hard-working people and Pokémon while the lake to the east gleams in the sunshine as fishermen attend it. There are small roads of asphalt spiraling up the hill to lead to all the old buildings, and children playing around in stairs or nature is very common. It is said that a trainer praying at the nearby Silent Shrine will be blessed on their journey, so many travel to Highhill Town just for that. There’s also a set of very ancient rocks spread about town, pointing out towards the lake on top of the hill with some engravings. What they mean? Nobody knows. Also, Highhill Town is the residence of a certain Move Changer, whose abilities are sought by some new trainers. What he can do? Visit him to find out.

1. The Silent Forest is a peaceful place where little in the way of violence or turmoil, giving credence to the name which it is now known by. Pokémon and people at peace with nature often walk among these trees, little noise other than the occasional sound of a Pokémon making their way or playing in the grass. In comparison to the other kinds of forests that one might find in Isson, this is without a doubt the least dangerous and absolutely least exciting one. Still, it is a boon to those of the calm Pureplain City who simply wants somewhere with fresh air to wander every once in a while.

1. Find Pokémon. I have a LOT of samples and pictures to take…!’ Paulie said, wide eyed and exploring like the Ruin Maniac he is. Anyways! Basil engaged a Nosepass! The instant he threw out his Pokémon against the seemingly immobile statue, it sprung to life! Of course, it still faced north, but for some reason that didn’t seem to hamper its fighting ability the slightest! Not that it mattered a lot, the wild Pokémon started with a Harden and a Block, making it so that it took less damage and that Basil could no longer escape if he wanted to. That wasn’t the intention, however, and after dodging a few Rock Throws Leech Seed had gotten its health down enough and Basil threw a Pokéball! Nosepass was absorbed into the ball with a flash, and the ball fell down onto the cavern floor. It rolled once. It rolled twiiiice…
... it rolled thrice. Quite a day, eh. The day after, he’d find Rainrock City just as he left it, except maybe the morning newspaper reporting on the blur that had burst out of Rainrock Caves and that Professor Paulie had sectioned off a portion of the caves for scientific investigation, no civilians allowed. Anise could be found in the Pokémon Center inspecting a map of Isson, if so desired. What will he do now?

Rainrock City
Passing over the rock bridge to enter, you’ll find Rainrock City to be a lot of exactly what’s in the name. Rain and rock. At the base of Mt. Strength, the city is on the top of a steep cliff, and has grown right where two rivers flow down from Mt. Strength to meet. A lake has grown in the center of the city, and the city has grown around it. The architecture of the buildings takes influence from an older time, as on these rocky cliffs larger buildings are difficult to construct, the streets made of cobblestone rather than asphalt. Given the near constant rain, it’s a largely silent mountain city where a lot of older people live, listening to the falling rain and taking it easy. You’re unlikely to find the town square bustling with attention. Behind the town lies ancient caves, thought to have been inhabited in ancient times. By Pokémon, by men, who knows, the writing on the walls remain untranslatable to this day. It is perhaps due to these caverns, as well as a general concentration of old and wise people, that caused Rainrock City to house both the Rainrock Library as well as the Rainrock Academy. If Pureplain City house the schools for young children to learn, Rainrock City is where they finish their studies at the Academy, studying old texts under the calming noise of the rain. Rainrock Academy also happens to house the Pokémon Gym, due to Gym Leader being an esteemed professor. Also notable, around Rainrock and on the streets there are Geodudes in town despite the rain, just lying about. Oh, and small crab-like bugs that make home in the rocks around here.

1. Find Pokémon. Can still search for Pokémon in towns~ 2. Talk.
