Despite his young age as a Sun Elf, stress has caused Sjalvolki to appear older than he actually is. Wrinkles can be seen on the elf's face here and there in different spots. A few scars can be also figured out, but the on-looker will have to pay much attention to the facial features of Sjalvolki first to really notice. Sjalvolki puts on a stoic face, not to scare off people from social interaction but as the result of years spent in the Deadwood, witnessing what horrors that it has to offer. Glimpses of pain, both psychically and emotionally, can be noticed in the elf's face. Stuble ways that Sjalvolki moves his head, eyes constantly shifting to look for danger, and the stoic face tells a story of an elf who does not like to be in the Deadwood, but is forced to endure what the hellhole has to offer. In terms of mannerism, Sjalvolki walks very quietly and quickly. He is always fast on his feet, jumpy, and often very uneasy. That might be his anxiety, or it might be that his body has gotten used to being this nervous as a defensive measure against unknown monsters and peoples. You can never see this Sun Elf at ease.
CAPABILITIES [sub]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sub] "One person can only do so much."
Owing to his age, Sjalvolki Gorassos has learned a good deal of skills that has allowed the Sun Elf to survive within the harsh lands of Deadwood. Sjalvolki has the knowledge of the most important expertise that everyone should know as a life skill - cooking. The Sun Elf knows how to process and prepare foodstuffs, creating wonderful meals from everyday ingredients. And yes, Sjalvolki also knows how to butcher common animals and beasts that walk the Deadwood (plus he also knows how to forage). The second skill of the Sun Elf is smithing. Given the proper forge and tools, Sjalvolki can forge and repair items. Need nails? Sjalvolki can make some for you. Got a kink in your armor? Sjalvolki can hammer that out for y’all. All you need is to ask, and Sjalvolki can likely help you in the general smithing department. When it comes to armor works and weapon works, Sjalvolki is more knowledgeable on armor than on weapons. For combat matters, Sjalvolki can use both mace and shield comfortably, along with a composite bow for ranged matters. More specifically, Sjalvolki is best at the usage of his composite bow since he often hunts down animals for food on a daily basis. The Sun Elf is well-traveled, having transversed the vastness of the Deadwoods many times before. If you need a guide then this Elf can help you get to a lot of places in a short time. To no-one's surprise, Sjalvolki can speak, write, and read in Elfish (most proficient with Sun Elf dialect). Sjalvolki has above-average strength, but the Sun Elf is very quick on his feet. The elf is also highly skilled in horse-riding and care. As a last note, Sjalvolki is very sound in mind. He is not fickle. Mental fortitude is what has allowed Sjalvolki not to be driven into insanity or madness.
EQUIPMENT [sub]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sub] "There is too much stuff for me to carry."
For equipment, Sjalvolki has a horse as among his most important “items.” Camping and survival items are carried by his beast of burden and thus allowing Sjalvolki to live on the move. Those camping and survival items are your basics for living out in the wilds of the Deadwood - cooking utensils, a tent, bandages, medical herbs, various tools, etc. Other items include a bag that holds ten pieces of silver coin, and a steel mace, kite shield, and composite bow (along with the arrows for it). For armor, Sjalvolki wears chainmail over his gambeson. To finish out his armor set, the Sun Elf also wears a metal hamlet since head protection is extremely important.

[/cell][/row]
[sup]
▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅Who are you? He wishes to restore the land claimed by the Deadwood/Cataclysm, hoping to turn the world into a beautiful and fertile land for anyone or thing to enjoy, and where civilization can regrow into something brighter. The Sun Elf sees this as his divine quest to allow anyone to feel the warmth of the Sun God and banish the unholy nature that is associated with the Deadwood.
PERSONALITY [sub]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sub] "I am Sjalvolki."
Sjalvolki Gorassos is a highly principled and divine-driven man, with his beliefs near-unbreakable. He believes in the principles of altruism and basic decency. Even in this hellhole of a world, Sjalvolki will not allow himself to be lowered morally. A strong moral compass guides this Sun Elf, giving him a sense of purpose and sanity. But such decency is not a feature that is a fault. Most of the time, Sjalvolki will not act upon his altruism since the morality of the Deadwood are more than go here. There are simply too many people in this world that will easily exploit his kindness. In face of such facts, Sjalvolki is forced to put on an indifferent stance. He minds his own business and hopefully, others will do the same. Sjalvolki is not a talkative person nor does he share his life-story with anyone either. For the most part, he just focuses on making sure that he is not dead, always keeping an ear and an eye out. Monsters and bandits lurk every part of Deadwood and the Sun Elf has no time for sociable events - if he even had anyone to talk to within the first place. The Elf is also quite calm, even in situations that would warrant panic. Sjalvolki is not easily angered either. Say what you will to him. It will fall on deaf ears, but there are a few things that might cause Sjalvolki to be more wrathful. Insulting the beliefs of the New Sult Cult and its followers will make Sjalvolki more judgmental against those who do such acts. Zealousness in faith can also be a trait that defines Sjalvolki. He is the servant of the Sun God, and he will not have people spread blasphemy or heresy. Do not mention the Old Sun Cult to the Sun Elf too since he is even more zealous against them than the faithless. It is a greater offense to betray the Sun God than it is not to believe in the Sun God.

[sup]
▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅Why are you? Why are you?
[/sup] "I am merely but a pawn in the game of Deadwood."
Sjalvolki Gorassos has always known the life of a nomad. The Lyrossi Tribe, his birth-tribe, was always on the move in search of new lands and resources within the Deadwood. Sjalvolki’s life revolved around the migration pattern of the tribe. From an early age, Sjalvolki was taught the basics of survival and horse-riding. Without such knowledge then you may as well not be with the tribe. While some may never be able to travel the vastness of Deadwood, Sjalvolki has. From Sorrow Fields to the Bone Sea, Sjalvolki has traveled to many parts of the Deadwood. The search for new resources was the driving force for the Lyrossi Tribe. Trade was highly important as the Lyrossi Tribe became known for their exploits in gathering various parts of artifacts and other things. For Sjalvolki, he was not chosen to search the dead cities and ruined sites but was assigned to cooking. A boring job at first, but a blessing since Sjalvolki never had to risk his life in search of new resources and items. This was early-life for Sjalvolki. He traveled the parts of Deadwood and cooked for his tribe. In time, Sjalvolki’s life would get more exciting, but not in the way you think. Instead, Sjalvolki gained a job of helping the tribe blacksmiths. Over time, Sjalvolki slowly gained an interest in the ways of forging iron and steel. One day, he asked if he could learn how to smith. The smiths gladly accepted the request but that meant more work for Sjalvolki as he had to both cook and smith. How stressful. Life went on as normal for a good while. Sjalvolki did his duties as a smith and cook, but things would take a turn for the worse for Sjalvolki. The religion of the Sun Elfs, the Sun Cult, had a massive schism. Two different cults soon formed in the aftermath - the New Sun Cult and the Old Sun Cult. The New believed that anyone could be a follower of the Sun God, not just the Sun Elfs. The Old believed that only the Sun Elfs could be the ONLY true followers of the Sun God, chosen by the Sun God itself to be as such. Many tribes fought over this belief and the Lyrossi Tribe was among the followers of the Old. For Sjalvolki, he was among the few that believed in the New Sun Cult. For this, he was banished from his birth-tribe. Taking whatever he could, Sjalvolki had to leave his family behind. While Sjalvolki could have joined a new tribe, the Sun Elf never did. At the age of 60, the time that he was banished, Sjalvolki chose to live on his lonesome. For the latter part of his life, Sjalvolki followed the same migration pattern as his tribe did, while offering his services in cities to pay for food, water, and other costs as he went about his migration. It also during this time that Sjalvolki became more self-aware of himself, and what he wanted from life. This is when he decided that the Deadwood was a sin against the Sun God, neverminding the fact that he also believed that Deadwood was also a hellish place that needed to go away. After finding out about the reward by the Queen, Sjalvolki jumped at the job. He could use the wealth to fund research to restore the land, and he can also figure out what caused Deadwood to be made in the first place.
[sup]
▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅What else is there?
