"Ah... hello, there," Eric addressed the twin Grimer. He tried his best to keep up a courteous attitude toward the stinking Pokemon. It seemed one of them immediately glomped onto his shoe for some reason. Maybe because it was dirty? The soles of shoes were probably coated with the kind of mess Grimer would like to eat. "Hmm..." Eric uttered as he considered Faye's options for a minute. It would be nice to use a Pokemon to quickly fix his problem and go back to his life as planned. On the other hand, if he stayed and recovered at the ranch for a bit, he could get a better idea of what this place was like and spend some time organizing his thoughts from earlier. Also, if those wild Pokemon moved in the next couple hours, Eric could go back the way he came. "I wish not to bother your Pokemon for a problem of my own doing," Eric concluded. "If it's alright, could you lead me somewhere a little nicer than the open field to rest? I can find a way to repay you later." The reporter attempted to stand up but struggled to find a foot placement that would not accidentally squish the prankster Grimer.
