So I’ve been thinking about how combat is going to work. What do y’all think of doing a very very light DND feel, and we roll a die to see how effective our last post was. For example: Vivian dodges the thrown knife and throws one of her own, striking the foe in the arm. I’d then roll a 20 faced die, and if it’s a 20, it happened exactly like that. If it’s like a 15, she mostly got out of the way, maybe a scratch but the damage from the knife she threw maybe hit him, but not anywhere that’ll slow him down. At a 5, she’d get hit by the knife somewhere hindering, and be pretty hurt, and her knife wouldn’t hit strong, barely a graze. At 1, the knife would hit somewhere vital, and she’d miss the foe entirely. Not exactly like this, but I’m brainstorming, this way not everyone comes out on top all the time, and it would mix up our plans. We could do a 10 face die, or more. I’m up for discussion. Only thing is, idk how to do that on this site, on my other one the option is attached to each post. Thoughts?
