So what, all my friends are married ,have or had kids, and now their all divorced and they hate their lives. 

I'm like you, I'm just here, but I would rather be here than in their shoes now.
It's about you and what you want out of life, if you want those things, go for it, if your happy just being "here" then live to the fullest.
