[u][b]Issue:[/b][/u] Believes that he is cursed

[u][b]His-story:[/b][/u] Russell's belief that he was cursed began on the day he was born in Cleveland. His mother died while giving birth to him, and his twin sister died during the birth as well. Russell's father didn't blame him for what happened, but Russell always believed it was his fault. Russell carried that guilt around for years. He was able to make it subside when he played football in High School, and Russell believed that he was going to be all right. That feeling didn't last long as his father was killed in a car accident on his way to Russell's final home game. Russell was raised by a friend of the family for the last few months he lived in Cleveland.

He eventually was given a Football Scholarship to Ohio State and many believed that he had a promising career in the NFL. Until he did a form perfect tackle on a running back, and the running back landed awkwardly on his neck killing him instantly. Russell was racked with guilt again. So he decided that he must do something to as a form of penance. 

Russell decided to hang up his cleats and joined the Police Academy. He was a natural as Police Officer and when he graduated he transferred to the NYPD. Russell moved quickly up the ranks to Detective and fell in love with a lawyer who worked for the Public Defender's office. They married and had a son. For the first time ever Russell was truly happy, but once again tragedy struck. Russell was going into work early one day to put the final touches on a major mob case he had been working on. His wife had his car parked in so he took her car to work. Shortly after 7:30 AM Russell was informed his wife and son were killed by a car bomb. Russell finished the case, brought his family's killers to justice, and turned in his badge. Russell was convinced that he was cursed. All these tragedies occurred and he was the only common factor in all of them. 

A couple of friends on the force recommended Russell to a group therapy team that met in the area. He currently works for a friend as an associate in a Private Investigation firm.

Marksman and firearms: Russell's time on the force made him quite capable in the use of guns.

Driving: Russell knows how to carry off a high speed pursuit like no one else.

Running: It is a passion of Russell's and one of the ways he deals with stress
