[center][i]The year is 2064 AC. Twenty years ago the world suffered the effects of their own hubris. The atmosphere could no longer protect the world and the world was plunged into a new ice age. Unbreakable clouds blocked out the sun and the world was covered in endless night. The grand works of man, their towers and buildings, frozen and destroyed by the forces of nature within a year. Billions of people died as the world began to freeze and people desperately tried to save themselves. Nuclear energy was sought as a immediate solution, but in the panic humanity simply created a new weapon against themselves. Cities powered by nuclear energy soon suffered from violent meltdowns that resulted death and destruction.

Now what remains of humanity lives underground, in what remains of their old metro stations, bunkers, or caves formed from nature's whims. The life they lived is gone and now they eek out an existence in isolated colonies. This story takes place in what remains of North America, it's border's warped beyond recognition. A story of two exiles who must fight, survive, and live in this wretched environment.[/i][/center]

Name: (Fairly obvious stuff. Being in North America, there's still a large variety of cultures and ethnic groups even into the ice age.)
Appearance: (Anime, real life, drawn, whatever you feel comfortable with.)
Age: (Ideally adult. The calamity that turned the world into darkness happened 20 years ago, so depending on your character's age you may have always lived in this state of calamity or maybe remember brief moments where things were alright.)
Occupation: (What your job was for the Colony. May potentially be useful outside and in the new colony.)
History: (Your backstory basically. Keep it as long or short as you're willing to make it.)
Proficiency: (Your specific set of skills. This isn't a power gaming RP so feel free to make them as good or bad as you wanna.)
Equipment: (Your general equipment. Subject to change over the course of the RP so update as needed.)
