As much as Troe would love to be the one saying something like: “nothing ventured, nothing gained”, he’d probably stutter through the words while trying to second guess the idea. He can handle himself in a fight, but he’d rather stick to research and reading. That said, when pushed far enough the bloodlust inherent in most Rjaskav warriors shows. Class: Noble History: Troe was born to a distinguished line of Rjaskavi nobility, from a line of unparalleled fighters and warriors...and yet even from a young age he hated swinging a weapon. Despite almost daily lessons and sparring sessions, he just never took to the sword or any other form of melee. Eventually his family tried to have him trained with a bow only to find that he had no talent, and after a few incidents scarring both himself and those in attendance with misfires, even that was abandoned. For a few years he was considered a disappointment to his House, and while still treated as the son of a lord, any possibility of inheritance was completely obliterated. A few years later a book merchant found his way into their halls, and despite being completely unable to sell any books to the Revinah household, a young Troe managed to snatch a few tomes from his cart. His noble upbringing meant that he could at least read them, and he quickly found himself enamored by the simple wind magic he eventually managed to teach himself. Of course, now that he had a weapon of sorts he believed that he could prove his worth to his father and bring himself back into his House’s good graces. It wasn’t so simple, the Revinah family was ashamed that their oldest son had become interested in something so academic...And so he found himself sent overseas with the books that he had taken as well as some gold and supplies to start his life again elsewhere. Troe didn’t hate his family, if anything sending him away would at least give him a chance to find more books! It...it would have been better if he had chosen to leave though. Nowadays, Troe is a regular at the grand library. He gets by writing scholarly papers, but is more often than not caught resting his head on an opened book in the middle of the library. Of course, occasionally his thoughts go back to how his family is doing back home...He’s even sent a few letters on the occasion, not that he ever got anything in return.
