[indent]Niklaus is an unimposing individual despite what a name he's made for himself over the years. He's quite lean in build and only stands in around five foot ten inches. He never quite holds himself to that full height, often hunched or hugging his elbows. Most who meet Niklaus without an idea of his villain identity will assume almost nothing of him. He's not immediately frightening and he almost seems [i]nervous[/i] in how he moves, how he rocks and fidgets.

Niklaus has longish brown hair that curls at the ends, this hair is usually kept in a ponytail at the nape of his neck although he has sometimes relents in letting it down. He has a face that seems almost friendly with a roman nose and high cheekbones. His eyes are a pale, pale shade of green and his skin is usually quite tan although nowadays it looks a bit paler. His smile is a frequent thing, honestly the only thing that's physically unsettling about Niklaus is that too-wide grin that almost never seems to fall.

He dresses quite simply, comfortably, favoring cardigans and sweaters. He can be found in suits every so often but for the most part he dresses down.[/indent]

[indent]Niklaus is [i]not quite right[/i]. Many who have the displeasure of getting to know the man have found that he is... a few screws loose of a set. Niklaus is friendly, borderline manic in his friendliness. He's cheerful and excitable, he almost always seems [i]happy[/i]. His pleasant demeanor makes it easy to talk to him but his distractable nature makes it hard to follow any thread of conversation with him. He is rapidly shifting, constantly bouncing from one extreme to the next. 

While he may [i]love[/i] you one day, he might assuredly [i]hate[/i] you the next. His erratic and ever-shifting emotions make him both unstable and [i]confusing[/i]. One wrong turn and he could be plotting your downfall, it's entirely frustrating to deal with at times. He is easily amused and sometimes childish in his mannerisms. 

He is egotistical to a point of megalomania, he honestly believes himself to be a [i]God[/i]. He's bold and willing to rush into things without a second thought, extremely reckless and unafraid. He is power-hungry and violent. He is willing to hurt whoever he can to get wherever he needs to be. He is sadistic and enjoys inflicting pain on others. Despite these things, he is a good public speaker, someone who accidentally exudes charisma but this also makes him quite good at lying.

All in all, Niklaus is not someone to be taken lightly.[/indent]

Niklaus Argyros was raised an only child to a single father. His mother had died shortly after his birth and his father was left to raise him alone. He was an odd child from the start. He could never seem to stay in place, often wandering and distracted by the strangest little things. This was something his father could never quite understand, a level-headed man who wasn't taken by art or mystery, but his son was not much like him at all.

Niklaus wanted to see all that the world could offer but his father was content with what they had. Life was quiet for the first few years of his life, his father was distant and they rarely spoke. Niklaus was never terribly bothered by this absence of adults in his life but it did often lead to him getting in trouble. He would often bother their neighbors and could be found following around an older boy in the neighborhood. This young man's name was Richmond and he was somewhat infamous for reeking havoc.

Richmond was two years older than Niklaus and was often at the head of their misadventures. They quickly made a name for themselves in that neighborhood much to Niklaus' father's chagrin. Niklaus wound up at odds with his father as a result of this, the two had taken to fighting near constantly. It was during one of these fights that Niklaus first developed his powers. 

Niklaus would disappear from his childhood home shortly after this.

Tartarus would first come into the media maybe two years after this. A haunting figure that appeared in the dreams of citizens, always with a man at his side. He would torture his victims by using their worst fears against them and leave them broken shells of who they had once been. Tartarus was a [i]menace[/i] and his sidekick was no better. 

The two would continue a reign of terror for what would become years until-- Richmond would wind up as collateral in a battle with a hero who sought to take them down. After the loss of his partner, Niklaus seemingly disappeared again. He has only recently come back to light upon getting a job at the school.[/indent]

[indent]Devan is built compact and short, he only stands in around five foot seven inches although he looks a bit shorter upon first glance. His build is wiry with muscle and he is very lean, he can easily be compared to a dancer in frame. He has broad shoulders and a broad chest although this is somewhat due to how compact his muscular distribution is. 

His skin tone is olive and spotted with dark freckles that are evenly scattered across his body. His fingertips are usually blackened with rot, his nails are almost always cracked. He tends to keep his hands wrapped in gauze as a result of this.

His hair is often kept just a [i]bit[/i] too long and it tends to be somewhat messy. He almost never seems to keep his hair brushed and as a result it winds up hanging across his forehead and nose. He has a pretty face with high cheekbones and a sharp jawline, his eyes are heavy-lidded and a very pale gray in shade. He has a full mouth that's often down-turned and somewhat somber. He has a prominent hawk nose.

[indent]Devan is rude, whether this be intentional or unintentional is sometimes hard to decipher because he often seems confused when he’s called out on it. Despite this rude demeanor, he’s unapologetic, seemingly convinced that people who think he’s mean are just whining or “don’t really know him”. He’s got a tendency to lean on a sharp sense of humor, one that picks at the insecurities of others and he also fails to see an issue with that.

Devan is manipulative by nature, a toxic person who finds it advantageous to twist others to suit himself. He seeks power, driven by an urge to stand above his peers and willing to crush whoever he can to climb those ranks. However, he’s not terribly confident in his ability to do so. Achievements are often seen as things he could have done better and he tends to pick apart his strategies with an over-analyzing eye. This can make him incredibly organized but also incredibly in need of approval.

His better qualities fall into an inherent goofiness when he’s with friends or loved ones, he can even be construed as sweet in these moments. He’s got a gentle nature hidden beneath that rough exterior and he’s kind of a hopeless romantic, although it’s hard to tell with how eager he is to flirt with others.

On another end, he is woeful and self-pitying. He tends to presume he’s going through the worst and he feels ill-fated when things don’t go his way. He feels targeted, whether he is or not and he’s his own worst enemy. He’s argumentative, grouchy, and very cynical. He tends to think he knows best and won’t take the advice of anyone else. He’s easily frustrated and he lacks basic empathy which often causes him to act immorally but he’s quite good at emulating empathy.[/indent]

[indent]Simon is a sarcastic young man with a bit of a viper’s tongue, he tends to speak in a way that borders on over-dramatic when it comes to using sarcasm. He’s prone to snippy comebacks, things that seem quite mean and inconsiderate of the feelings of those around him. He doesn’t seem to have a filter when he speaks, often saying what he feels with no heed for whether or not it’s ill-timed or badly put. He doesn’t believe in limiting his jokes which often make him… somewhat unlikeable for those on the receiving end. It’s not been a stretch to call him “rude” or “mean”.

He’s very emotionally unintelligent, not very good at understanding other people. While he’s extremely competent as a clairvoyant, he’s not so competent as a friend or someone to look to for guidance. He’s very good at listening however, it’s just very unlikely he’ll have any comments on the matter or any helpful advice. 

He’s very kind, someone who’s friendly, at least on a surface level. He’s easy to get along with if you’ve got the patience for him. He likes to keep things light-hearted, joking around and trying to get under the skin of people he deems “too serious”. He’s playful by nature and finds it hard to take things serious, even when the situation is… very serious. 

He’s extremely intelligent, finds it easy to work through most technical problems and doesn’t have any issue thinking outside the box. He’s very introverted and doesn’t much like company despite his desire to force other people to deal with his awful sense of humor.
