Clumsy, forgetful, shy and often seen as timid, but this is far from the truth. Remus has a hidden courage, hidden bravery beneath his insecurity= particularly when he finds himself fighting for something he believes in. If you had to describe Remus in a few words, his closet friends would describe him as reserved, warm-hearted and responsible, while those that don't know him would describe him as quiet, a bit of a loser, and no one to write home about. This is their loss- those that get to know Remus will get his full devotion and loyalty, as well as see another side of the quiet boy that many don't get to see. Port of Remus's problem with a lot of people is that he doesn't seem to have a lot of self-esteem, often referring to himself as just a "nobody". With the support of people that care for him, and encouragement, Remus is a highly skilled and courageous individual. 

When he is fighting for something he believes in, for protecting others or for a task that is important, Remus possesses an ironclad will, courage of outstanding merit and a nobility of spirit- although he can still be comically shy despite this.  Friends have called him a "teddy bear" And while it is often said in jest, this is quite true. Remus is a strong will, courageous and often fierce individual when he protects, but is still as cuddly as a soft toy. While it might seem like Remus is an emotional wreck, he is actually well-tuned into his emotions- and the feelings of others, and while he is good at understanding his emotions, he often struggles to express them. Rather than sharing his feelings, he tends to bottle them up, sometimes to the point that negative feelings towards other people can result- particularly if he doesn't wish to burden others with his troubles. 

With a tendency to underplay his accomplishments, Remus tends to let others take credit for his work, not wanting to case any trouble, he needs to learn how to say no and stand up for himself. He is naturally social, which goes against a lot of his rather introvert qualities, and uses a rather excellent memory not to retain data and trivia, but to remember people and details about their lives, and when giving gifts, Remus has no equal, using his rather vivid imagination and natural sensitivity to express his generosity in ways that often touches the hearts of his recipients.

"I will protect those who can't protect themselves" is something Remus takes to heart, and an ideal he lives by. He rarely sits idle when there is a worthy cause unfinished, and he will always undevout to protect people he cares about, or innocent bystanders in a way that inspires others to stand for themselves, as well as putting himself in harms way. He may never be truly comfortable in the spotlight and might feel guilty taking credit for anything, but Remus will do so if it helps keep people safe. This isn't limited to those he cares about, if there is a good cause, Remus will protect even those he hates- not that there are many of them. The difficult thing for Remus to accept is that there will be times where he can't protect everyone, no matter how hard he tries. 

Perhaps one standing trait for Remus is that he often finds himself frightened- and frightened of anything. This doesn't stop him from doing his best for others, although it doesn't give him much of a courageous air- more a cowardly one. He doesn't let things get to him, but being called a coward sends him in a spiral of degrading self-esteem that can affect him for quite some time.

[color=silver][indent][sub]It was never clear what became of Remus's mother, no one saw her as she placed a baby carrier down on the steps of an orphanage, the baby wrapped carefully in blankets. There was no note, just the child on the steps. He wasn't there long, perhaps a few minutes as his mother knocked, and then disappeared into the night. And so it was that Remus grew up in an orphanage, Suffering from nightmares, Remus would often find himself awake a night- and learned to fear the shadows. 

As things kept happening around him, people having vivid waking nightmares or fears spreading like wild-fires through the other children, Remus grew up surrounded by fear. He tended to keep to himself as such, but grew frightened of just about everything. Without cause, of course, as things- monsters drawn to the fear he created. Monsters weren't the only things that hunted him- a camper found him running from manticore. Rescuing him, the camper brought Remus to camp- and Remus hasn't left camp since that day.  A rather unique individual, Riley is filled with her own ideals and ideas, her own moral compass. That saying, she does need to make her lifestyle out of risky behaviors based on what she perceives as right. She lives in the moment and tends to dive into action- or into any situation that she thinks deserves her attention. In this, she is the eye of the storm. She is a strong, willful person and if there is something she wants to do, she will find a way to do it, and won’t let anything stand in her way. She enjoys adventure and having a good time- as long as she gets to experience some form of drama, passion or pleasure, she is happy. Sometimes she just doesn’t think that she is alive unless she is getting into trouble of one form or another. And she loves getting into trouble- some might say that she actively seeks trouble. 

Because of how sociable she is, she is rather remarkable at noticing small changes in people, whether it is a shift in facial expressions, a new clothing style or the like, she tends to just pick up on hidden thoughts and feelings and motives, where others would be lucky to pick up anything specific at all. She uses these observations almost immediately, calling out the change and asking questions, often with little regard for others' privacy and personal space. This does, of course, on occasion, get her into trouble. 

A free willed individual, Riley refuses to let herself be retrieved, to have boundaries placed on her, and if she is confined anywhere, she will find a way out. Even if it is impossible, she will try. She doesn’t like to rely on people, liking her independence, liking her own strength and she uses this particular strength to stand up to other people and to speak her mind. 

Despite all this, she is an unerringly kind individual, and will do anything for those she cares about, bringing about an anger that is mighty if one of her friends or family is harmed in anyway. She ahs a gentle nature, often seen by those she cares about. 

In short, she is a vivacious, talented and kind woman, with a sharp tongue and an ability to stand by what she believes in

[color=silver][indent][sub]While she hasn't made it to the camp yet, Riley has made quite a name for herself in underworld circles- namely in protecting humans from the more gorey and dangerous details of the Gods world. Born into a rather large family, Riley often thought of herself as one in the shadows, overlooked by her older siblings- and perhaps this is why Riley sought to prove herself. 

And thus, as she worked her way through the rather seedy underworld, Riley eventually came to hear of "monster" sightings and attacks. Curious, and wishing to ensure people were safe- well, as safe as they could be, Riley soon developed a way to stop disappearances happening from the supernatural. She gathered a group of misfits- those that rarely seemed to fit in in the world, because they were different, and created a small pocket of peace. 

Which of course, couldn't last.

Riley soon found herself surrounded by foes she couldn't defeat.
