Rogue. Scum. Felon. Terror. Blackguard. Sinner. Hero. In your past there was nothing that could stand in your way. Revenge, power, wealth, fame, anything you wanted. You had legions of minions and followers at your command, vaults of vast riches and magical artifacts, lairs and fortresses thought unimpregnable and invincible. Thousands were crushed in your relentless ambition, and you would crush a thousand more. But we know how these stories end up. At the height of your power, right before your final victory, a ragtag group of plucky heroes saves the day or an underling betrays you in the name of "justice" or "family". Your schemes laid in ruins, your armies shattered and your fortress destroyed with your story doomed to death or failure. But what if it didn't end there. Reborn by the power of the multiversal Nexus, you were given new life and a new duty. All of reality itself is threatened by a terror so unfathomably ancient that none can stand against it. Great heroes and champion paragons have fallen before its unstoppable moment as it reaches out from beyond the veil between reality. Its armies beyond counting, its champions beyond reckoning and its heralds are unstoppable, a vanguard of the most powerful beings across worlds and dimensions: the villainous you..

Welcome to the Redeemer Corps, a multiverse organization of former villains who have been summoned by the power of the Nexus to stop the Abyss. Why you might ask? Because the Abyss is using copies of yourselves as its Heralds and so far, no one else has been able to beat them. Normal heroes and armies can't fight them so they brought back the only people who really know their weaknesses, themselves. Inspired by Megamind and Suicide Squad, the main premise of the RP is that you are creating your own antagonist while creating a protagonist character. However, your "redeemed" player-version is weaker than the Abyssal antagonist. Lore reason is that the Nexus brought you back using your body while the Abyss brought their version back using your old soul. You personality might have changed a little depending on the process too. Character creation will be mirrored with one Abyssal version (evil, villain antagonist) and one Redeemed version (player character version).
If Edgelord McGee could use blood magic to literally suck the blood out of groups of people at the height of his power. After being reborn into the Redeemer Corps, he might only be able to do it on one person. If Queen Eviltyrant used to be able to command thousands of undead soldiers with magic, she might only be able to control a dozen or so undead. At least at the start. If Weeabo Jones once could slice bullets out of the air with his katana and generally do badass ninja stuff, his reaction might be slowed meaning he can no longer do superhuman feats.
Regular RP rules and norms apply, try your best to be powerful but not godly immortal.

Character Creation
Some thoughts:

I highly recommend watching some of Overly Sarcastic Production's videos on tropes about villains and generally things on how to write a good villain.
I would try to avoid having "super intelligence" a la evil Sherlock be one of your abilities unless you want to do a LOT of OOC talking with me to set it up so your character actually shows it off.
Beyond the evil dark lord, there's things like "magnificent bastard", "honorable/professional foe", "well intentioned extremist" and other tropes to work off of.
Remember, the difference between a villain and a supervillain is PRESENTATION. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*✲゚*。⋆
See this as well "making two character sheets" and more "making one and then tweaking it".
Try to include a summary of your character for quick reference for other players.
