Capitalism demands infinite growth and these corporate-powerhouses are at the fore-front of exploiting every single opportunity to satisfy said growth. The loose nature of the Coalition has allowed these mega-corporations to create economic and commercial empires, substituting ninety percent of all economic activity in Coalition held territory. With so much economic power in their hands, the mega-corporations have found themselves influencing political inter-workings of the Coalition, for better or worse. It is an inescapable truth that the political decisions of the various Coalition states are extremely influenced by the interests of corporate powers. Not surprisingly, laws concerning corporations are heavily relaxed. As a result, economic inequality, wage-slavery, and extreme social stratification are among the many problems that plague the Coalition, but that is just the side-effect of the free market - is it not?[/COLOR]
