Amaris Marivaldi
[sub]Interacting with: Madalyn [@Achronum] [/sub] Curious eyes tracked what Amaris could only assume was her mage as a bundle of cloth shuffled past her toward the kitchen. It was equal parts amusing and concerning to see her partner in such a state, foggy with sleep and doing her best to hide from the pleasant chill of winter. She did suppose the lack of sunlight made the nights harsher for mortal kind but the temperatures hadn’t dropped quite so far… had they? It was difficult for her to tell sometimes as the cold was not only not a problem for her but, instead, a preference. With a small chuckle, Amaris eased up onto her feet and followed Maddie into the kitchen. “And to you.” She barely questioned the inaccuracy of the statement anymore, having grown too used to it by this point in their relationship. It carried the same sentiment so why argue? “Slept well, I hope?” Amaris quietly placed her glass down on the counter and reached for one of the cabinet’s doors. She withdrew a mug from within and lowered it to the counter for Maddie’s morning coffee ritual. Sliding the item away from her for ease of access to the raspy mage, Amaris picked her own glass back up and continued sipping at it while she observed her partner. “So is this a new fashion trend I need to be catching up on, because I’m not going to lie to you… it does not look at all comfortable. How can you move around in so many layers?”
