Outstanding! I am also writing a novel about a group of sci-fi soldier types, but they are not trying to track down a ship. It focuses on a Private Military Corporation set in the 24th Century and their exploits. I am 70,000 words into mine. My goal is 100,000 words. If I took a month, I am sure I could finish it. Unfortunately I haven't touched it in 13 months. :(
