[indent]Annie was born into a small family given that she was an only child. Growing up, she did not face any struggles and was blessed to have parents who both cared for her and provided her with the everyday needs of a child. Annie is smart, and throughout the years, school was never an issue for her. She made friends easily due to her outgoing personality. Even though she may be a little rough around the edges with the occasional mean comment or two, Annie can keep a secret and she'll refrain from gossiping about her closest friends. Everyone else? Well, they're fair game. The fact that Annie can sometimes be harsh towards others has landed her in hot water before. She's had other kids' parents have a talk with hers, and as expected, she was adequately punished each time. 

Her sophomore year of high school, Annie decided to get into track. As a result, she didn't have as much free time and started spending less time with her clique. On top of that, she met new people from the team and started hanging out with them. This made her other friends jealous, but she didn't care. Annie argued she was allowed to have new friends and that she shouldn't be tied down to any one specific group. A few months later, one of her friends from the team introduced her to Charlie, and that's when they first met. While Annie didn't necessarily bully him or anything simply due to their lack of interaction, she did turn him down for a date.

Time passed and eventually, that ill-fated morning arrived. Annie had decided to skip class to catch up on homework, not because of the content but the sheer amount of work she had procrastinated on. She was minding her own business when chaos ensued, and she reacted accordingly by grabbing her belongings and rushing to the nearest exit. When she rounded a corner, Annie noticed Charlie who was down at the end of the hall. They stared at each other silently for a second or two before the boy shot her, hitting her in the abdomen. Annie dropped instantly, her body in shock. She wasn't too sure what Charlie did next or where he went from there, but she remembers bits and pieces of her being put into an ambulance and taken to the hospital.

Recently, Annie headed back to town as her mother had a heart attack and was hospitalized in critical condition.
