you are correct but If I remember correctly they were not truly via  his shield.  He did learn to make accessories and sytnesis potions via his shields.  I will do some research.  It may be something that Fer discovers IC. Maybe through some ancient text hint hint there [@Whoami] lol.  

Man I really need more shields.  I feel that  my character is lagging behind but I dont feel there has been any credible situation for him to feed monsters into his shield and acquire new ones.  am I wrong?
