Ty jumped a bit when an unexpected voice spoke up. This one seemed to be real, at least, though it came from someone the leather-clad trainer didn't recognize. Ty blinked as he took a second to register the girl's words and then put on a small smile.

[color=0072bc]"Uhh, yeah. Um... my group went on without me. I sent Reaper out to find them."[/color]

[i]Technically,[/i] neither of those statements were lies. The stranger still looked at him, though, seemingly unsatisfied by his best performance in the role of "okay." Ty's brown eyes glanced away as he absentmindedly fiddled with his eyebrow piercing.
