Kay nodded at John's words. Granted, it had been a long time since she last attempted to kill herself. It was mostly in her teens when it happened because she felt so lost and troubled as no one accepted her except for her adoptive family. In her eyes it was just what life dealt her and she learned to believe that it just wasn't her time, when all along it was because she couldn't die no matter what because of her bloodline. The only thing unknown to her that could kill her permanently was indeed iron, whether it be in a bullet, blade or any other weapon sized shape. When Serena stood up and went to the bathroom, Kay couldn't help but glance toward her before looking back at John as he spoke to her once more. "I don't remember much at all, I guess I suppressed a lot of that day when dad walked out. My best mate's folks were friends of our family and it was them who took me in. They don't know the truth, or that's what I've grown to believe as it was them who sent me to the hospital. If they knew anything I'd like to think they wouldn't have done that. What I don't get is why my mother didn't tell me what I am. She kept that from me the whole time, brought me up to believe I was just a normal human child. So on that basis, is it really that odd that no one else would know if she didn't even let her own family know what she was?" she explained. As she spoke with John and Chas, she had no idea what was going on with Serena in the bathroom, finding it was only when the shadow fox was trying to get their attention that she got the feeling something wasn't right. "I think there's something wrong with Serena" she said, going to get up and before anyone could stop her she went after Serena, following the shadow fox. "Serena?" she called out, managing to find her. "Serena! What's wrong?" she asked, squatting down in front of her.
