Gua Gefa was a ritual priest of the city of Kuoi in the Kingdom of Agake. A selfish and arrogant individual with no concern for life or the wellbeing of anyone other than himself, he was cast in the abyss at the end of a long journey.

Summary: Gua Gefa was a priest born in the city of Kuoi in the Kingdom of Agake. Born into a priest family, he was the second some of the then High Priest, Ge, of the Temple of Kuoi, and the heir apparent for the temple priesthood after his elder brother was killed after military conscription. Gua served as a ritual clown priest directly under the temple's oracle, Hyilin, and was chosen to accompany her on her journey eastward to recover lost artifacts in the land of Suigda, with the hopes that his participation in the pilgrimage would change his selfish and corrupt personality and better refine him into a proper priest.

Legacy: As a ritual priest, Gua was trained and skilled in powerful magic, which he put to good use on his journey with Hyilin. He did, however, prove to be a difficult partner for Hyilin to deal with. Initially, she found him to be a liability and resounded to abandon him in an oasis town after he had gotten the duo in trouble by robbing and getting into fights with workmen in a previous town. Hyilin escaped by means of a horse in the night, leaving Gua in a salt mining town in the desert. Gua, realizing he was freed from his burden, Gua set to using his knowledge of magic to manipulate the townsfolk into treating him like a king, establishing the town as his personal temple and living a hedonistic life in the desert town for 3 months, before he was commanded by the voice of a goddess to find Hyilin and complete the task under punishment of death by plague. In his refusal to rejoin, the town was wiped out by plague, and Gua was afflicted, being disfigured by the pox with pale white skin and the slow loss of his ability to feel any sensation in his skin, and being told that only his help in getting Hyilin to the Prophet's Temple would cure him of his imminent death. 

With his hand forced, Gua reunited with Hyilin and her new companion, the raider turned runaway slave, Isutzo, whom he immediately grew deeply envious of for the great respect he commanded of others, and continued on with their journey. All the while, he proved to be his same former self, greedy, manipulative, with no concern for the wellbeing of others, easily committing atrocious acts or encouraging others to do so, manipulating common people for his own uses and easily killing or otherwise damaging the lives of those who were not useful to him or got in his way, and abusing his position as a priest for his own benefits. 

Upon reaching the great temple, while the other members of the party were given high status, Hyilin and Isutzo as divine protectors, and their companion Hucho as the eternal guardian of the temple, Gua was determined to be too corrupt in his current life and sent to the abyss to redeem himself before he could be granted a reward like his companions.

Personality: What were they like beyond the normal villainy?

Signature Ability: Consume - As a powerful mage able to bend energy to his will, Gua was able to suck the life energy out of a weakened or fallen enemy of replenish his own. At his height he could suck the life out of entire armies with the wave of a hand.

Abilities: The Myriad - At the height of his power, Gua was able to summon 800 celestial spirits to fight with him as a personal army, and with the support of Hyilin's Battle Inspiration, able to double it to 1,600 alone. These spirits were incorporal beings who acted like shadow clones of Gua, and were able to work with him to fight against any threat that the party came into contact with.

Summary: 800 years later, after being cast into the darkness by the Goddess of Redemption, Gua Gefa is reborn as Noa Isou, a newborn girl born to a dirt poor petty street thief, Ma Isou, and his girlfriend, Let Hui, sent as punishment to work on a plantation in the New World colonies as slaves after Ma had stolen food from the home of a government official in Agake. For his gluttony and his abuse of his position, Gua was reborn as the only child of a slave couple, and for his lechery and abuse of women, he was reborn as a young girl. 

Noa was chosen from a young age to take care of the children of her owner, and spent a good deal of her time in the house. Naturally very intelligent, she taught herself to read and write, and was able to sneak away and educate herself about history and other such intellectual topics by way of using her house key to sneak into her owner's personal library and reading of his books while the family were gone. During one such encounter, she was met with a familiar voice of a divine protector, who told her that she was to embark on a quest to redeem herself of the burdens of her past life. It was then that she found of her secret abilities from that past life when her owner found her in his personal chambers and attacked her. In fear, she had grabbed onto his skin and drained the life out of him. In horror at having killed her owner, Noa fled into the countryside, taking his rife and following only the instructions of the voice she heard.

Personality: While having more understanding and care for the values of life, Noa still holds onto some traits of her time as Gua. She is still very gluttonous and rather lazy, and maintains her previous lustfulness. However, these traits rule her much less than before, and she is much more kind hearted and caring towards those around her than in her previous life.

Signature Ability: The one ability or item you were known for. Also the only unchanged ability after being Redeemed.
