If doomsday is coming —I'm not going to heaven.’ Known Alias: Katya Ivanov Age: 19 Powers: ◾️Hallucinations: able to create vivid hallucinations. These hallucinations are not tangible and require focus and imagination. If concentration fails, the hallucinations are lost. ◾️Shadow manipulation: not only able to alter the shape of shadows that are already cast, similar to her hallucination abilities, she is also able to solidify shadows to a similar shape as a tentacle. Drawbacks include the necessity for shadows and the fact that the more the shadow is split, the weaker each arm becomes. Additionally, stamina is needed to maintain the use of this ability. ◾️Levitation/Flight: though unable to fly through the sky for long periods, Nikita is able to hover above ground or soar for short distances. If too exhausted, this ability becomes unreliable and even dangerous. Equipment: ◾️Utility knife ◾️Plain black bodysuit fitted with lightweight armored plates and a loose hood ◾️1460 Doc Martens ◾️Black seamless mask which covers her nose down her neck Appearance: Nikita has long black hair and a naturally pale complexion. She sports several piercings and tends to dress in a more alternative fashion in her day to day life. She is of medium and somewhat athletic build. Known Affiliations: Nikita has not officially been a part of any special teams or groups in the past. She was mentored by Daisy Johnson. However, Johnson continued to improve as well, often being pulled away to tasks and missions deemed more important than tending to Nikita constantly. No longer able to be Nikita’s caregiver and tutor, she offered to connect Nikita with others who may be able to help her continue to advance. However, Nikita declined.
-Daisy Johnson: also known as “Quake”. Daisy was Nikita’s long time mentor. Daisy is an inhuman Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D with an unnatural seismic ability. -Jason Anderson: a former high-ranking agent of S.H.I.E.L.D who has been demoted to a field agent and has been reassigned to surveillance on Nikita.

-Former Colonel Anton Dorosh: almost directly below her adopted father for his entire military career, he continued to assist Ivanov in retirement as well. He blames Nikita’s disloyalty for Ivanov’s downfall and has labelled her a domestic terrorist and an enemy of the state, preventing her from ever returning or using her adopted name again. He’s sworn to serve her vengeance.
Canon or OC: Original Character Story Overview: Nikita was adopted as a small child by a former Lieutenant General of the Russian military, Alexander Ivanov. Though able to commit business as he saw fit in Russia, thanks to his past and connections, Ivanov made the mistake of branching his “businesses” (which included illegal arms dealing, human trafficking, and distribution of dangerous research compounds) to several different countries. Political leaders of many of the affected areas requested help from S.H.I.E.L.D.. As a covert mission, only a few agents were assigned to neutralize him, one of them being Daisy Johnson. When successful, they were forced to bring a young Nikita back to the US. Nikita has had a few “caretakers” assigned to her but Johnson was the only one she bonded with and was compliant for. Instead of physical training with her father day in and out, Nikita was tutored in many subjects, offered speech and language classes and had assistance in honing her abilities. When Daisy was no longer able to do this with her, S.H.I.E.L.D. provided more caretakers despite Nikita’s protests. Eventually, they resolved to allow her probationary freedom and a new identity as Nikita Kos while she remains under surveillance. Nikita intends to use this freedom to her advantage. She plans to eradicate Dorosh and be permitted back home. Additionally, she hopes to continue to perfect her abilities as well as make a positive name for herself amongst the ranks of heroes who defend their nations. Sample Post: Officially, Nikita Kos does not exist and never has. There is no record of who she was before. Though legally adopted, her birth records and original documents have all been destroyed and replaced. The name they are currently under is no longer one she can use. Nikita had already begun to display unnatural abilities at a young age. It began as a toddler with apparitions that she created. Nikita often experienced nightmares in her youth which lead her to accidentally creating the things she witnessed in her dreams as hallucinations. Shortly followed in the next several months were bursts of levitation before she would drop suddenly. Those who worked in the orphanage regularly were quickly convinced possession or haunting and were all too happy to adopt the child out when Alexander Ivanov came inquiring. While she may have been eager in the beginning, Katya Ivanov was never nurtured or seen as a daughter. Instead, she was groomed to be Ivanov’s personal tool and future heir. Katya was trained and instructed daily in her new home for combat and military based strategy. Katya only experienced academics as they were relevant, though she was taught both Russian and English from an early age. Her proficiency in English was perhaps her only saving grace on the night of her father’s death. She blocked the exit of Johnson and the other two agents who had assisted her after a successfully completed assignment. “что будет со мной?” Katya had asked. This phrase was lost on the group, they looked to each other for an indication of what to do next. Katya realized they didn’t understand her and hoped for the best when she tried again. “What will become of me?” she asked, as clearly as she could manage. Now, nine years later, the organization that had viewed her as so much of a danger that she had been detained and interrogated for hours was suddenly turning her loose. They were sending her on her way with a new tactical suit and a new identity. Of course, S.H.I.E.L.D. has a much different view of freedom and autonomy than most, still requiring her to live in housing of their choosing and providing her a strict allowance. ______________________ Nikita chuckled to herself as she spotted the men she had recognized to be following her for the past week. She was eating sweetened pastries that she had been taught were a common breakfast item universally. Sprinkles made of sugar fell into her mouth as she took another bite. She was headed towards her apartment but decided better of it. She spun on her heel, long braided pigtails whipping behind her as she did. She crossed the street to the car they were sitting in and knocked on the window. The man sitting in the driver seat hesitated before rolling down the window. She leaned down and grinned, something she didn’t do often while in S.H.I.E.L.D.’s care. “Hungry?” she asked, waving a donut back and forth with a smirk. The man cleared his throat in clear discomfort. “Can I help you with something?” He asked. “Oh no. I just always enjoyed feeding the wild pigs back home,” she answered offering the sweet breakfast treat through the window. She was answered only by an eye roll and her reflection as the window rolled back up. Nikita smiled and straightened back up, rather proud of herself as she retreated back to her pre-selected apartment. Post Links:
