Here is my guy as well,

AGENT DOSSIER

Name: Shen Yun Age: 25 Gender: M Height: 6'1ft Entity: Anomalous [sub]If you are anomalous please fill out this section. Write N/A if inapplicable.[/sub] Nature of Expression:
Agent Yun’s very own soul is loose and detachable by nature. The Yun clan named this phenomenon, “fragmented soul”. Whenever Agent Yun is asleep, the unstable composition of his soul allows for it to wander out and intermingle with "spirits" from beyond the mortal realm. Namely, a higher dimension. This is done involuntarily, seeming like a ship without an anchor. His consciousness is set aside to temporarily make space for other beings that seek a connection for any reason one can possibly think of. The distance of how far his soul goes in the higher dimension when he is asleep is directly correlated to his anxiety levels. The higher his anxiety, the further his soul tries to “run”. If it is on the more stable side, the safer it feels, and the closer it is to his body. This makes it harder for it to get lost. When Shen is finished resting, he wakes up with amnesia - having no memory of what happened in the dream. Shen’s connections to these spirits prove to be quite useful at times. The kinder ones often choose to provide assistance useful to his waking life; like offering glimpses of images and sending him scenes that are up to him to decipher. These are the only things that Shen remembers from his dreams, even after waking up. Although the meanings behind these dreams can be subjective, they are of more help than having absolutely nothing to go off of. Waking up with no memory of the dream wasn't so bad either, as long as he had those symbols. This sense of clairvoyance brought on mildly prophetic "dreams" which allowed for a couple missions to be handled with a little bit more ease than usual. However, having this strong connection to the higher dimension comes with its fair share of danger. When asleep, malicious entities can sense Agent Yun’s soul wandering, and they will not hesitate to occupy his vessel should his tether not pull him back in time. The higher dimension is vast, which is why there is a limit to his wandering. There are also such situations where Shen’s soul is brought back successfully, only to be overpowered by an entity and forced out of his own body. These trips never end well. More practical measures have been taken to counteract these events since then.
Containment:
Since Agent Yun’s fragmented soul only “works” when he is asleep, he often takes caffeine pills to keep himself awake if he is expecting an unwanted visitor. His shamanistic background allows for him to sense neutral or bad energy in his surroundings, and he uses this as a basis for whether he decides to fall asleep that night or skip a sleep cycle (or three). Usually, the spirits tend to get bored and move on. However, the longer he goes without sleep, the more his anxiety levels begin to skyrocket. As a result, he is often seen going for long runs, drinking excessive amounts of tea, and practicing deep breathing alone in his room. The longest Shen has managed to attend work without sleep was four days before he began to see hallucinations. If ever he has no choice but to sleep with bad energy still present in the room, he will sleep with a straitjacket on and allow himself to be tightly secured to the bed. Occasionally, Shen’s wandering soul proves for a difficult situation to deal with. The mere implication of his body being overtaken by an extremely powerful entity in his sleep is enough to keep The Bureau on moderately high alert when Agent Yun goes to rest. Should such a situation unfold; if a total of 8 hours passes and Shen is still unable to return to his body to overwrite the entity, his soul is assumed gone for good. But sitting and waiting for 8 hours in the real world with a human vessel possessed by a potentially demonic entity is unrealistic and allows plenty of time for all to go wrong. In which case, should Agent Yun’s body be possessed for longer than 2 hours, the Bureau is forcibly tasked to summon Yun’s clan head to exorcise the spirit and release the tether. This will sever the spiritual umbilical cord attached to Shen’s body and ultimately force all bad energy out. In the process, the vessel is left empty and Shen’s soul is dispersed. Consequently, he will be unable to reincarnate again.
(NOTE: complete control of anomalies is impractical given the irregular nature of these. Therefore the following is considered:) Risks:

- No two of Shen’s nights are ever the same. Whenever he falls asleep, he is visited by spirits of all personalities - some often try to possess him and cause harm - INSOMNIA - Shen often has trouble falling asleep due to his anticipation for which spirit he could run intothat night - WASTE OF TIME. Shen often wakes up frustrated because he always FORGETS his dreams - only left with small clues to work with. - SLEEP DEPRIVATION. leads to heightened ANXIETY LEVELS, ultimately resulting in his body crashing - HIGH POSSIBILITY for Shen’s body to undergo POSSESSION at any given time he is asleep if he is not careful in managing his anxiety - Can be TRICKED by spirits giving FALSE INFORMATION - The more spirits he connects with nightly, the higher his chances of developing PTSD are - depending on what they let him experience

Remarkable Skills:
Agent Yun is an excellent runner. He is by no means fast, but he can run quite a long distance with no complaint. Living with a fragmented soul for most of his life made him out to be a very self-aware individual when it came to managing his stress and anxiety, as that was paramount to his well-being. The most effective way Agent Yun relieved his stress was through running. He also knows how to boil tea. Green tea.
Personality:
Shen is quiet by nature, as he prefers to take his time and observe things carefully. The agent is known to take his job very seriously and has yet to put anything above it - even himself. He is often told that he can seem quite irritable, in which his lack of sleep is fully to blame. The man truly tries his best not to snap at just anything within a 3ft vicinity. During missions, the agent is calmer than most and forces a stoic expression whenever things get rough. Even though this initially started off as a necessity to combat anxiety, it began to grow on him slowly until one day he woke up and just decided that not everything was worth giving a huge damn about all the time, and he was okay with that. Although, despite this there are very many moments where his sleep deprivation has led to pent-up feelings and bursts of explosion which he releases when by himself. The Bureau has given up filling the recurring fist-sized holes in the walls. Often times, Shen can come across as a rather cold and stand-offish person - simply because he is one. Expressing vulnerability is not something he is completely comfortable with, but definitely something he would like to learn. As a matter of fact, he has an easy time opening up to whoever lets him in first.
Social Liabilities:
His immediate family (mother and father), clan members - although they are alive and well, he has grown estranged after having focused on his work for the past 10 years.
Service Record: Agent Yun, Full Name: Yun, Shen, 24, Blood Type A-
Shen Yun hails from a religious clan situated within the Northern provinces of mainland China. The Yun clan is well-versed in shamanism. After Shen turned 10, an exorcism mishap within the family tree had them decide to uproot and immigrate to the United States for a fresh start. Ever since then, Shen Yun suffered from night terrors and lucid dreams that kept recurring over time. The "dream" always sent him away with the same images - a music concert, people running, and gunshots. Every night, Shen Yun woke up scared to death, even though he'd already forgotten his dream by then. Those feelings and images stuck with him, almost as if he was supposed to do something with them. They were so vivid, but for what? The news report states that Shen had managed to convince a part of the crowd to follow him outside of the venue. Though the group was small, it seemed that Shen had spared the lives of these people from the mass shooting that occurred within the concert venue very shortly after. Shen Yun was detained at the police station for questioning on the same night. Voice recorded statements from Shen, claiming that he knew how, when, and where the shooting was going to take place. This raised the entire department's suspicions and we had to forcibly detain him for another three days. Within these few days, we discovered that the concert security personnel were involved in the mass shoot-out. Not only did they enable the event to take place, but they also let the main assailants into the venue to execute their plan. All of this information was provided by Shen Yun. Next day, team set out on their only leads. Search warrants were issued, and evidence was found in the suspects' houses detailing back and forth plans via the dark web. Based on their motives, we rule this case out to be a mass hate crime. The suspects were detained, then tried. Proven guilty - genocide - sentenced to life in prison with no possibility for parole. Shen Yun is deemed innocent on the matter. His release has been scheduled for today - please take note and report this incident to the higher-ups.

It was at this point that The Bureau had taken interest in the boy. They visited him and his family in their home regularly to conduct interviews and private tests. The Madison Square Garden incident proved that the boy's vivid dream imageries were not coincidental in the slightest, and they were determined to learn more about his "skill". Shen Yun suffered from sleep deprivation quite often. But after learning that his lapsed soul and dreams had the potential to save lives, he agreed to train under The Bureau's wing. Whether it was to fine-tune his soul, save whoever he could, or just learn more about himself, he was willing to do it to ensure a life that would not be half-lived. His parents let him go willingly as they collectively agreed that, as a shaman, this was work meant for people of his calling. Agent Yun has trained under The Bureau for a decade since then, and has shown exceptional conduct in providing the team with efficient information gathered with the use of his fragmented soul.
