Chas laid her in the bed and pulled the duvet up and over her, practically tucking her in as if he was tucking his kid in, before leaving the room, leaving the door a jar just like he did the night before. He figured Serena would prefer it if the door wasn't fully closed, and her shadows would appreciate it as well. Kay didn't believe him when he said he worked better if someone was nearby but she appreciated the sentiment nonetheless, nodding. "thanks, think I will" she replied to him, standing up, "you're an alright bloke John" she smiled to him, patting his shoulder before walking back to the couch, just as Chas re entered the room. "right you two, I've put Serena to bed and left the door ajar so if she needs either of you you'll hear her and vise versa" he explained. "make sure you both get some rest as well yeah? I don't wanna be coming here tomorrow to find I have to nag you two to rest up as well" he smirked.
