Too bad it died, I would've liked to participate in it. Especially since I had this entire thing already typed up. [hider=Oh that work for nothing]Faction Name Medical Emergency Response Organization (MERO-U) Unit F32I6 Universe Random Futuristic Summary in a Sentence A company for hire to aid with wars and/or large disasters. Description In the far futuristic remaints of Earth (where everything is privatized and companies no longer pretend not to be the real leaders of the now intergalactic empire) a organization was created in a attempt to salvage the few running operations left on the unstable planet humankind once called home. With financial backing through the roof from multiple large brand companies which still held great interest in the rotten globe, M.E.R.O started recruiting ex-military or social sector medical staff to be formed into special teams of emergency response units that could be orbitally dropped at any random point on the barren planet. With jobs being in low supply, many of the target employees jumped at the chance to have a proper job, despite the heavy risks that came with it. Within two years, the M.E.R.O grew from a small-scale organization to a fully fledged enterprise, having up to five-hundred units stationed along fourty-eight planets under human control. But that's not really important, let's talk about unit F32I6. This unit is a unruly lot. It was one of the first fifty units to be recruited into the organization and one of the seven units that survived the initial testing and development phase. Due to this fact, they've been under constant assignment on planet Earth, having received their own biospherical habitat on a small outpost near one of the few mining operations left on the planet. Consisting of sixteen members, they are considered one of the smallest units of the M.E.R.O, but since Earth has become less and less of a priority, the organization considered it enough for effective response. They have access to small hydroponic operations, as well as a relatively small factory that can auto-fabricate several basic things that are needed to keep the biosphere active. Amongst their obvious medical supply they also have access to two RAV's, small mechanical contraptions that they can man to move heavy chunks of debris out of the way. The biosphere itself has only three turrets that fire boring old regular bullets and they have access to a small armory of weapons incase one of the many mutated fauna (or even flora) tries anything funny. Technology Level near-futuristic. They have access to small mechs and a few railguns, but they lack any form of laser, plasma or any other kind of 'futuristic'weaponry. They do have body armour that doubles as hazmat suits, however. Magical or other Supernatural Powers None Important Person Name Dr. Elina Harredorn Role Administrator of the biosphere and leader of the unit Description A woman, standing at 5'10 tall, a couple of less than desirable scars running along her face, arms and places she'd rather keep covered. She is not the prettiest of females, dirty blond hair cut short to keep it from being in her way and dull blue eyes, one of which being slightly off due to a unrelated medical accident. Raspy voice being caused by the time on Earth when they didn't have access to the hazmat suits and a skin colour that'd make you wonder if you weren't talking to somekind of mutated ghost. A frame rather bulky, something imperative to the survival on the hellhole cliché called 'future Earth' and a smile that would make your metaphorical balls crawl back into your body, she is not one to be messed with and certainly doesn't have the patience to deal with things that shouldn't have to be dealt with. Brief Bio Elina started off as a medical graduate at the university of Keppler, serving under the world famous MeteoCoke company to research the medical effects of the product on the general populace. That being terribly paid and undervalued work, she was one of the first ones that signed up for the M.E.R.O, undergoing extensive training and (unknowingly) chemical enchancing to become proficient at her new job as a Unit leader.
