After her conversation with Selena, Lorelei began to observe everything that was going on around the table. She noticed Rodrick drinking some wine and she gave him a small grin. [color=7ce7d3]”Ooo that looks yummy, I think I’ll have some too.”[/color] She poured herself some wine and took a sip of it, rather surprised at the quality of the wine. This stuff could get dangerous very quickly and wondered if Rodrick realized the same thing. She had quite a bit of experience with alcohol and had gotten good at recognizing when something was deceptively strong.

Her attention got pulled away from her drink as Anise began bombarding Selena with an immense amount of questions. She glanced at Selena and immediately recognized she was uncomfortable, whether it was from her not being used to speaking the common tongue or the nature of the questions Lorelei wasn’t entirely sure, but either way she didn’t like that her new acquaintance seemed upset. She began to open her mouth to say something, but others beat her to it. The wood nymph next to Rodrick, Karya, suggested skipping most of the questions, but the one that really caught her attention was the black haired magus, Ixius. He had a sharp tongue and in her experience a sharp tongue meant a quick wit. Lorelei eyed him for a moment with an almost predatory gaze as she gave him a pleased smirk. She then looked back at Selena and Anise. [color=7ce7d3]”I think it would be more entertaining if she didn’t answer ANY of your questions, keep you in suspense of what is true and what isn’t.”[/color] She said to Anise before swapping to the Siren language and quickly speaking to Selena.

Protect yourself and your people, that is the most important thing.”[/i][/color] She gave the girl a small reassuring smile while out of the corner of her eye she caught Finn and Valencia having a moment. She gave both of them a playful smirk before turning her attention now to the blonde haired magus as he introduced himself. He’d been rather quiet since she’d joined the table, but now he seemed rather eager as he stood introducing himself. As he went to sit back down, however, she caught the slightest of trembles in his hands. Was he nervous? How interesting.

He wanted them all to get along, but she had a feeling some here would continue to butt heads a bit. In fact Ixius seemed not too fond of Calven as it was and she didn’t see that changing any time soon, but perhaps she’d be proven wrong.

Karya then mentioned getting stronger in order to be able to help out with issues in this world. Lorelei leaned back in her chair as she responded to this statement. [color=7ce7d3]”Meh I’m only in this for the money…”[/color] She took a sip of her wine with a cheeky grin as she waited to see how many people here would have an issue with her response.
