Dandelion got passed between a few different teams for their first few years. The last team, whom they spent most of their captivity looked after by, were basically just there to keep Dandy content enough that they wouldn't try to escape, and note any unusual observations. The cell they spent most of their time in mostly resembled a chimpanzee enclosure; lots of ropes and and other things to climb and swing from. Of course it was hermetically sealed to keep any Dandy-microbes from getting out, and it was full of cameras, but the scientists did look after Dandy like one of their children, and did their best to provide enrichment.
