Always a fan of playing the villainous sort, or rather those that can play off heroes. Borrows a bit much from Sonic Adventure, but figured there wouldn't be any major troubles. I can come up with something else if desired.

Wisp the Raccoon
[ - Age - ] ???? Do not reuse. [ - History - ] Long ago, the Echidna tribes fought for supremacy over the Mobian world. Their warring, feuding, and self-destructive plans would inevitably lead to the destruction of their wonderous empires. But this is not a story of them, but of the raccoon tribe that traveled the world. A nomadic people, the raccoon tribes would often travel to other tribes, acting as merchants and tradesmen. They were in inconsequential people, but the people of the world respected them regardless. Wisp was the eldest son of Soot, the leader of the Raccoon tribe. A hopeless romantic at heart, he went where he wanted, and often brought trouble back with him. Though few were concerned, as his tricks and flirting was all harmless in practice. That was until he met the daughter of Chief Pachacamac, Tikal. The Knuckles Tribe had always been warlike, but under Pachacamac's rule, their aggression towards other tribes only escalated. Despite this, Wisp and Tikal became friends, and eventually began a Romeo and Juliet style of romance. An utter fascination, that would lead to only tragedy. Wisp, knowing that Pachacamac would never accept having his daughter marry the son of a nomadic tribe, made plans to spirit her away. Tikal, while excited at the prospect, confided in one of her chambermaids, hoping for support in the difficult decision to run away. The chambermaid though, betrayed her confidence. Wisp, on the night of his attempt, was captured by guards waiting in ambush. In order to prove that such a action had consequence, Pachacamac dragged the raccoon and the whole of his tribe before him, and had each of them executed, one... By one. In the end, Wisp, broken hearted, was the last to be punished. Pleading for the release of death... It was not granted to him. A cursed gemstone was brought forth before Wisp, and his soul was ripped from his body, placed forever within what historians would later know as "The Ghastly Gem." There, he would watch as the world aged around him. Forever lost in his own torment. Except... While being transported to a museum, it shattered when it was dropped from a great height. Freeing the soul of the raccoon who had been left there. Warped by his own pain and suffering, he seeks revenge on the Echidna Tribes, or rather those that remain. [ - Personality - ] Centuries of isolation and torment have warped what was once a person filled with love. A spirit, warped by agony is all that remains. Wisp is a trickster, who once upon a time would have been harmless. No longer. He is consumed by a need for revenge, and that hatred will never leave him. No, it is the core of who he has become. Perhaps he will torment, or resurface as that playful trickster. But his games are cruel. Mean spirited, and often weighed against those who might attempt to stop him. [ - Equipment - ] None. [ - Powers, Abilities, and Skills - ] [ - Spirit Body - ] Wisp is merely a spirit now. His physical body long decayed to the point where his bones have vanished as well. All that remains is his spirit, which is untouchable by all physical means. Only spiritual attacks, or ones that rely on chaos energy can afflict his body. Spirits may also hurt him, or those who use elemental powers. Along with this nigh-invulnerable state of being, he is also able to become nearly invisible to the naked eye. Another result of his having long passed. [ - Possession - ] It is possible for Wisp to snatch the body of the still living, or recently deceased, or even the mechanical. Doing so has a [url=https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/557de74e-0d9f-432d-b290-d5c166f43020/ddrohhr-3fca3209-6a18-4c0b-9057-0602cbd42571.png/v1/fill/w_1280,h_1280,q_80,strp/fox_iq___0_by_conmanwolf_ddrohhr-fullview.jpg?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOiIsImlzcyI6InVybjphcHA6Iiwib2JqIjpbW3siaGVpZ2h0IjoiPD0xMjgwIiwicGF0aCI6IlwvZlwvNTU3ZGU3NGUtMGQ5Zi00MzJkLWIyOTAtZDVjMTY2ZjQzMDIwXC9kZHJvaGhyLTNmY2EzMjA5LTZhMTgtNGMwYi05MDU3LTA2MDJjYmQ0MjU3MS5wbmciLCJ3aWR0aCI6Ijw9MTI4MCJ9XV0sImF1ZCI6WyJ1cm46c2VydmljZTppbWFnZS5vcGVyYXRpb25zIl19.GFQ3_LYJRxkgMfJOOdj-oX2yIDKD45j0ZSsB3CL3_ic]radical change on the body he has stolen, and if the soul of the individual he is attempting to possess is strong, he can be pushed out. The body takes on his distinct purple tones, and even his markings. Typically, he can wear any clothing he wishes by putting it on, but he also manifests the clothing he wears as a spirit. He feels naked without it. [ - Evil Spirit Manipulation - ] Wisp was not imprisoned alone, and various other spirits were trapped with him in the Ghastly Gem. Wisp has dominated each and every single one of them, and can manipulate them to fight the living for him. Performing odd tasks, or taking over the bodies of other weaker soul'd individuals. [ - Levitation - ] When one is a spirit, they are often known to ignore gravity. It is not true flight, as it is not affected by wind or gravity. But rather merely floating in the breeze. [ - Character Notes - ] - The shards of the Ghastly Gem are noticeably a weakness of his. Should he come into contact with one of them, it causes him a great deal of physical(?) pain, and weakens him till he can recover. Lesser spirits he summons can be outright sucked back into a single shard, reducing the spirits he has at his command. - Wisp is an antagonist, rather than a hero. His goal is revenge, as meaningless as that may seem considering those who hurt him are long past.
