Conors a complicated one since I'm going with him not really ingrained in pop-culture. He'll have heard some stuff but it's not like he's always on a phone/youtube etc. So I honestly don't know, I feel like he could be a Jazz guy, when he's not got some classical vinyl on. Two things: 1) By god do I hate the term 'Scot'. Like again this could be a regional thing, but if someone called me a Scot I'd probably punch them in their face. Not as bad as Scotch though. 2) quietely replaces listening to Nightwish with Frightened Rabbit to see what they're on about. A third surprise appearance. Runrig always has some absolute belters.
I wouldn't actually occur to me to use Scotch at all! Scot is how a few of my pals refer to themselves though, again might be regional. They're Glaswegian but also just. ultra laid back and unbothered. I could call them anything I bet. Frightened Rabbit are amazing, totally different vibe to Nightwish though I'll tell you that. I like the idea of Red jamming to commercial jingles, it makes complete sense. :D
