"sure thing, I'll be right back" Kay replied to him, standing up and headed out the room toward the kitchen, where she saw Serena on the floor holding her head. "hey.. Hey you okay?" she asked, walking over and squatting down. She had no clue what was going on but what she did know was that Serena was in pain for some reason. She couldn't see any sign of Chas being back yet and wondered if he got held up at work or something. Chas was held up, but not solely because of work. He was nearby in his cab, pulled over to the side of the road as he took a call he had been waiting for. He listened and chatted to the person on the other end, whilst jotting down what he was being told. It wasn't much information but it was heavy enough that he needed to digest it relatively slowly so he could actually write it down correctly and understand it. The last thing he wanted was to give John wrong information because he nis heard or misunderstood something told to him by his contact. "cheers mate, I owe you one." he said on the phone eventually, hanging up and driving to the old mill house to where John resided. It only took him a couple of minutes if that to get back, before turning the engine off, taking his keys and anything else he had gotten. Stepping out of the car, he walked to the front door and inside, "I'm back!" he called down to everyone.
