[b][color=fff79a]SETTING:[/color][/b] [i]A decimated universe, torn apart by the birth of parasitic monsters. Fighting off these creatures has been a norm for over half a century, as humanity moved from planet to moon to asteroid looking for a safe place to call home.[/i]

[quote]Following the success of Project DICOM (dimensional communication), Project DITRAV (dimensional travel) went off without a hitch. For decades the colonies have relied solely on radio and video transmissions with outside allies, clinging onto a thread of hope that we may meet and aid each other in growth.

When interdimensional travel was brought into being, we thought our prayers were finally answered. And by all accounts they had been. We traded with, learned from, befriended, and fought beside countless other colonies, teachers, civilians, and soldiers. This new tech helped pave the way into an era of interdimensional peace.

But when our guard was down, the wolves among the sheep shed their wool. Some who had been entrusted with secrets and resources betrayed us, leaving others to perish. Colonies divided, but trade and travel continued to expand. New enemies were made, but so were new allies. All the while, the cosmic parasites were expanding their territory as well, thriving amidst the shadows.

The allies who had stood true never abandoned our side, but those who charmed their way into power took off to hoard for themselves.

[b][color=f6989d]Azalea 9:[/color][/b] One of the twelve moons orbiting the scattered remains of planet Kamora. With a surface of mostly desert, Azalea 9 faces a constant barrage of hot winds and desert storms. Most of the organic life lives beneath the ground, including entire subterranean forests and underground lakes. The dominant species is a race of chameleon-like humanoids, whose diet consists of large, desert-thriving beetles and flies and well as cacti.

[b][color=7ff2ff]Gateway Hub:[/color][/b] An interdimensional airport of sorts, with portals leading to and from anywhere in the multiverse.

[b][color=f26522]Colony Alpha:[/color][/b] A small but humble colony of humans and androids located on Azalea 9. Specialize in artificial intelligence. Formed a treaty with the chameleon inhabitants, who cohabit underground.

[b][color=bc8dbf]Colony Beta:[/color][/b] Alpha's sister colony. Specialize in trade and agriculture. Live on the surface in sandstone structures and tents.

[b][color=8493ca]Androids:[/color][/b] Helpers designed by the Colonies to assist in resource gathering and escorting.

[b][color=39b54a]Chameleon Folk:[/color][/b] Azalea 9's native inhabitants. Diet of flies, beetles, and cacti. Molt their skin during adolescence. Can withstand the intense heat.

[b][color=9e0039]Cosmic Parasites:[/color][/b] Monsters who have overtaken most of the known universe, destroying it in the process. Take the forms of animals. Lay their offspring inside of planets and moons to incubate them. When they hatch, they decimate the landscape by eating whatever flora and fauna live there, sometimes even eating the planet itself.[/hider]
