This RP takes inspiration from both the "BLACK" superhuman/superhero comic series by Kwanza Osajyefo, NBC's Heroes & Marvel's X Men. It draws on some elements from all three fandoms in combination with original ideas of my own.

The setting of this roleplay would be in an alternate version of the real world set around 2018. The premise is the entire world is on the brink of World War 3, with many nations growing weary of America's role/position as the leading global superpower. As a result of rapid advancements in technology global tensions between nations are increasingly rising & there are rumors of a new super weapon in development that far surpasses the capacity of even nuclear weapons.

In February of 2018 a massive Energy Storm takes place in the United States. From seemingly nowhere the skies of the land of the free are filled with raw destructive energy & powerful raging winds. Beams of destructive raw energy rain down from the sky upon a few major cities in America. In total ten million citizens are slayed in this violent energy barrage in no less than 24 hours.  . 
The Energy Storm causes an Eclipse, and residual energy in the atmosphere causes several people to get sick around the country. The American Government launches an investigation to figure out the perpetrators behind the most violent attack in the nation's history & many are highly suspected including North Korea, China & Russia among others. 

People of color/minorities who are infected and recover begin manifesting superhuman abilities inspired & based on their inner most subconscious desires including superhuman strength, teleportation, & control over the elements among other powers. A secrete clandestine black ops organization is formed as joint venture between the CIA & Homeland Security's best operatives to seek control over America's new superhuman population as well as carrying out a thorough investigation into the Energy Storm Attack & the mysterious plague it triggered all while the world is on the brink of a global war now vastly enhanced by this unprecedented sci fi esque attack on the nation. 

The Roleplay would be taking place in the month of April, picking up two months after the Energy Storm. There's plenty going on in this juicy storyline with minorities gaining super powers, the black ops group trying to manage the rising chaos in the USA & maintain order with the new empowered citizens. The initial storyline will be focused on the USA's recovery from the Energy Storm & dealing with the plague & powers it's caused. However the global international conflict will play a key role in the story, as well as the tensions which of course are being raised drastically due to the attack itself.

As far as characters driving the story the people with powers, members of the black ops group, regular law enforcement, as well as regular citizens dealing with the impact of everything that's happened thus far are all good options to play as they all have there own perspective & reaction to what's going on.
