Every reality has its idea about how everything lines up. Whether it be paper-thin edges, mucousy in-betweens, or sanity warping, bone-crunching nightmares, they all share one idea. That whatever is on the other side is different enough to alter one's consciousness forever. Yet, what they failed to understand is that there's a refuse pile for all these realities. Occasionally, certain "events" punch a hole through these existences and empty those scraps into a pile all its own. Together, they have formed their own reality. One that could have technology from a thousand years in the future or a thousand years in the past. Where all genetic variations of humankind are both present and extinct. A place that exists of both infinite wonder and infinite danger. It's called Animga Fluxx, and you're the pieces of scrap that have landed here.

[hider=Peter K. Once a thriving Welcome Center, it's now fallen into disrepair. The semblance of knowledge and culture still rattles around in its ruins, mostly through Recall Screens. Their sentience once learned and recorded the events from those that had travelled from other realities. Unfortunately, something's corrupted them, and their thirst for knowledge has become far darker.

Artefacts are incomprehensible devices, powered by transreality siphons using its technology to rewrite reality on an atomic or subatomic level. Even to someone who understands a great deal about technology, most artefacts appear to be more magic than machine. They have a wide range of uses and costs. They distort the reality around the user, affecting them in a way that would seem unnatural in any other setting. This means that one could not use a large amount of them. The abundance of artefacts can lead to reality collapsing in on itself to squash the problem of it being tampered with in excess. Not that one would want their body so impossibly altered as to not even resemble a sentient mass of particles. Yet, despite all that. it's odder for someone to be without an artefact than to be with.
