They can easily get lost or caught up in the moment, and it can be hard to discern between someone else's emotions and their own. If the user is not careful, they can end up being hurt instead. [u]Healing[/u]: Users can restore biotic organisms to their optimal health, curing damaged or withered organisms, wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and diseases/poisoning. Drawback: In order to heal someone, the user must take on their injuries. Although it typically isn’t as severe as the original injury, it can still be quite painful for the user or cause damage. [hr] 3. [u]Telepathy[/u]: The ability to communicate/perceive outside of the known senses. Remy can read/sense another person's thoughts and communicate with them mentally. He can communicate and receive information from others. And because of recent events, he's been slowly able to communicate through dreams. A perk with this skill lies within his natural, yet uncanny ability to remember things; numbers, maps, people, faces, names, entire books, anything. Not just short-term memory - everything seems to lodge itself straight into his long-term working memory. And he remembers right down to every small detail years after first introductions. Therefore, what he reads from other minds will stick with him until he dislodges them for good. This natural mental vault is a form of [u]HSAM - Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory[/u] Drawback: Unfortunately, with all the information he collects and holds in his massive memory, Remy can, from time to time, meltdown. Hyperthymesia leads to depression, causes problems with relationships, and prevents people from living in the present. If he does not meditate to clear unwanted information and free his mind from the stresses of his and other's thoughts and emotions, he can lose his own emotional balance and crash. Just like a large network of computers that keeps an entire country up and running - suddenly going dark, Remy will fall into a 'floating' state (awake and active but mentally unaware of his actions), or worse - fall into a coma that can last for months. Due to his growing powers over the mind and emotions, he'll begin to have visions of others, and eventually, those visions will begin to show up in his sleep. These dreams Remy will somehow be able to manipulate and communicate through a person's dream. (Wondering if teleportation is possible - teleporting to a person's location through their dreamstate... if it's possible, Remy will eventually be able to do it, if he's capable. [u]Suggestion[/u] (Enchantment) You suggest a course of activity (limited to a sentence or two) and magically influence a creature you can see within range that can hear and understand you. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this effect. The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the course of action sound reasonable. Asking the creature to stab itself, throw itself onto a spear, immolate itself, or do some other obviously harmful act ends the spell. While the target is charmed, you have a telepathic link with it as long as the two of you are on the same plane of existence. You can use this telepathic link to issue commands to the creature while you are conscious, which it does its best to obey. You can specify a simple and general course of action, such as "Attack that creature," "Run over there," or "Fetch that object." Polynesian Binding Tattoo (Concentration) This binding tattoo of his actually grants him the ability to bind other people's minor abilities and their emotions. He believes it's just part of the spell, but it's mostly the tattoo. Minor spells, incantations, enchantments, and magical abilities he's able to bind for 30 min to an hour, depending on how strong it is initially and Remy's concentration. If he breaks his concentration, the timeclock drops to a lower number. This ability will strengthen once he is able to have his magical tattoo updated. For now, Lv 1 - 15 spells and abilities is all he's able to control. [hr] 9. [u]Alchemy Skills[/u] Can create up to 8 transmutation circles through drawing them, salting, or simply licking his finger and aura tracing one in the air. He also has quick transmutation runes that he also aura trace in the air for quick fixes. It was no surprise to anyone that his mother didn't stick around long. His father did the best he could. Money was kind of tight despite his father's job, meaning they didn't always live in the best areas. It didn't take long before his father realized he was in no way capable of raising his son alone. But instead of just remarrying, he gave Remy up for adoption when he was two, and never looked back. Remy was a pretty small, sensitive child, one who would start tearing up if someone looked at him wrong. Therefore, he was picked on quite a lot and treated like the runt of the litter until a new kid moved into the group home he was residing in. And even though he now had a protector, someone who he could trust and rely on, Remy still had to deal with far too much negativity too early in his childhood. One unfortunate event caused Remy to lose his control - all he can remember is how many bodies laid around his feet - one being his new friend. Not knowing what actually happened, Remi had lost his mind and a little piece of his soul. Even though he was cleared of the charge of murder, is considered a victim of a gang fight that resulted in 5 deaths, Remi still blames himself and that sudden burst of arcane energy that suddenly awakened through his heightened emotions at the time. He hates his abilities for that day but hates himself even more for wanting to keep them. He went from being a relatively sweet and emotional child to a closed-off teenager and a cynical young adult but fearing repeating history if emotions rise, Remy decided to hide everything by keeping a smile on his face. Unfortunately, at times, that smile and his small frame become the very reasons he is bullied, the very reason others take advantage of him. Regardless, he did really extremely well academically and had a real future in front of him. With college started and an idea in his head for what he would like to accomplish in his life, Remy wants to move forwards without any emotion whatsoever.
