EDIT: on an unrelated Note, I have begun working on a Star Trek Roleplay involving the Klingons. In this RP the the USS Intrepid never responded to distress calls by the Klingons at Khitomer and Narendra III. Also, the USS Enterprise NCC 1701C entered the Temporal Rift (ST:TNG: s3, e15 [i]Yesterday's Enterprise[/i]) did not return to their time, 22 years prior to be destroyed by Romulan Forces attacking Narendra III, the same engagement that left Worf stranded as a child. THis way, the war between the Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire is raging 22 years later in the alternate timeline that we find the NCC 1701D in during the episode, mentioned earlier ([i]Yesterday's Enterprise[/i]).
