Riku was excited when he noticed Shiranui. He felt silly not seeing him earlier as he was wrapped up in the thought of a battle.
 "You're Kanto's Champion, Shiranui Tsukiko!" Riku began to fanboy over Shranui and had stars in his eyes. "Liam told me he was friends with some other regional champions, but I wasn't expecting to meet one here!

Riku realized he forgot to check his ranking and looked at his phone. He let out a sigh of relief that he wasn't that when he lost he did not fall to deep into Normal Rank
