A strange planet with CHECKER-PRINTED GROUND, and nearly everything made out of MACHINES. Even the LOCALS and WILDLIFE appear to be either half or completely MECHANICAL, though they act as if they were normal. However, as you may have already noticed, TIME has STOOD STILL for god knows how long. Before you even arrived apparently. Most TOWNS, like the one you decided to stay in have resorted to LANTERNS and CANDLES to light up the ETERNAL NIGHT, but it's obvious their supplies will RUN OUT eventually.

The sentient machines have talked about a DENIZEN within the DEPTHS of the land, CHRONOS, and how NO ONE has ever reached the end to face it. Your OBJECTIVE is to reach these depths, and either KILL the denizen, or NEGOTIATE it's returning time back to it's natural state.
