This includes weapons, vehicles, tools, and other objects. However, she cannot draw anything that would have a soul; a person, an animal, mythical creature, etc. Right now she is very limited to smaller objects and she is currently unable to rescale items as she brings them to life Background: Amalia’s mother, Giselle, was born and raised in the Philippines before moving to the states to pursue a degree in fashion at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. While in the states she met Amalia’s father, but once she found out she was pregnant she dropped out of college and went back home to the Philippines to raise her. Giselle never told her former love about Amalia as she was ashamed of herself for conceiving a child out of wedlock. Giselle still pursued her love of fashion in the Philippines and loved making clothes for her little girl. The two were inseparable and Amalia learned everything from her mom. As a birthday present when she was 10 years old her mother got Amalia her very first sewing machine, she had saved up to purchase it herself with no help from her family. Amalia started sewing clothes for her dolls and as she grew older she started making clothes for herself, her family, and her friends. All seemed well in Amalia’s life. They did not have a lot of money, but she had a lot of family and happiness. She lived with her grandparents and went to school with her cousins, making clothes after school and hosting her own fashion shows. She also learned how to cook and bake from her grandmother. Amalia didn’t know anything different then the four walls she was raised in but she couldn’t have asked for anything better. Around the age of 16, Giselle was offered a job in New York at a fashion magazine after one of her latest fashion lines went viral. Giselle was hesitant to accept, she didn’t want to uproot her daughter and was afraid to run across Amalia’s father, but decided she needed to chase her dreams. So the two packed their bags and moved to New York. New York was very different from her home. Amalia didn’t know anyone, had no family, the streets were busy, and her mother was too busy for her. The two moved into a rough neighborhood and found themselves on the wrong side of a gun more than once. Amalia’s first friend at her new school was a boy she ended up dating. He became abusive quickly into their relationship. She stuck with him though, as she didn’t know anything different. When Amalia graduated high school she wanted to get away from it all. She couldn’t take the streets, her apartment, or her mother who had changed over time into someone selfish. She didn’t bake anymore or care about Amalia’s fashion. Giselle had become too busy chasing her dreams she would have achieved had Amalia never been born. Amalia’s boyfriend also became too much to handle after graduation and her mother neglected to ever notice the black eye or the bruises on her arm. Amalia had applied to the Academy of Art University all the way in San Francisco, California. Even though she loved the schools and fashion in New York City, she simply had to get as far away as she could get from her life in New York. Amalia packed her bags, moved to California, got any part time job that would accept her, and started a new life there. Bitterness grew in her heart towards her mother and she longed to one day have a happy life like she had before. Amalia graduated from the Academy of Art University at 22 and continued to work as a waitress while pursuing her dream of fashion. When the energy storm passed over Amalia was hospitalized, she almost called her mother to rekindle after their falling out as she was worried she was going to die in the hospital bed, but she made it through. (Unbeknownst to her, Giselle had died in the energy storm) After the hospital trip a strange power seemed to course her veins. One night after finishing sketching one of her new designs, the corner of the dress suddenly came off the page as real fabric. Either on the lips, a kiss to the cheek, on the hand, etc. When she kisses someone, time appears to stop for her and she can see the person’s most recent memories and she can either change something in those memories or add something to it. She can see further back in the person’s memories the closer she is to kissing them on the lips. In addition, Cynthia uses the same technique to control a person into taking certain actions or believing what she says. Instead of implanting a memory, she can ask someone to do something for her or change their minds on a particular thing. Having a person take a physical action takes more energy and requires her to kiss them on the cheek or lips, closer to their mind. She is limited, she needs to have energy and she cannot force someone to do something that is completely out of character for someone. She cannot overall change someone’s personality or core beliefs. Background: Cynthia’s mother, Fatima, was an undercover cop who went in too deep. She was tasked with helping to bring down a notorious drug lord named Humberto. He ran multiple operations under ground that went from Mexico to the US, shipping out loads of drugs, guns, and anything else people needed. Because of Fatima’s charms, hard work, and diligence she got really close to Humberto. She managed to seduce him however she found out she had become pregnant with his child. She had a decision to make, go back to the states and hope that the cops and possibly witness protection would keep her and her baby safe or become her written character, play out the life of a drug lord’s women. She had seen enough of his life to know she would be safer and be able to spend more time living happily with her baby if she just stayed with him. So she did. This didn’t stop Fatima from teaching her baby girl everything she knew about being stealthy, creating a lie and believing it, and self defense. In addition to Fatima having been trained as an undercover cop, Cynthia was the first born child to Humberto. This made her valuable to the cartel. Whereas other children born to lesser members were often used as distractions or smugglers, she was treated as a princess. Her father being the leader of the operation, people bowed down to her. You didn’t touch a single hair on her head without getting a finger sliced off. When Cynthia was 14 everything changed. Through some intelligence, and a rat, her mother was revealed to be an undercover cop. Although it had been 14 years without incident or reporting back to the police, as far as they knew she had died, Humberto could not keep face if he kept her alive. Humberto sent Cynthia away to live with his most trusted partner in the states and killed her mother personally in front of a crowd. Her mother had been a traitor however Cynthia swore she never would be. She loved her mom but understood her father’s decision to execute her. She had been shipped off to not only save her from seeing her death but because Humberto and his cartel were wary of trusting her. They didn’t know if she would flip on them, what her mother had been teaching her, and if she could truly be trusted. Cynthia had no desire to lose her status as the princess of the cartel. She wanted to take it over one day as she was promised. While Cynthia lived with her father’s number two and his many girls, she learned more about the operation. She learned that the operation ran old fashioned because the people in charge didn’t trust technology. With reason, it was easier to trace technology. However, Cynthia saw this as an opportunity to grow their market and prove her usefulness. She started taking computer courses, coding classes, and everything she could get her hands on. As she grew up she learned more, more about how to hack, how to find what the police looked for, and how to infiltrate. With her rise to power she gave the cartel a 21st century makeover. Now they were able to find new clients online, wire transfer money, hack into police records and private details. She made it safe for them to run their business both with a paper trail and online. She loved being the tech guru of the cartel. Cynthia was never the best shot with a gun, always off target even when it was right in front of her, and although she knows self defense she is physically not the strongest. She’s very tiny, frail, and would never be able to take the kind of people the cartel has enemies with. Both behind a screen and in the social game was her playground. The princess was reborn in the Energy Storm and she wanted more. Her father’s cartel was doing fine on it’s own but a man named Hector and his cartel, the Salzaras Cartel, caught her attention. She didn’t want to just inherit her father’s legacy, she wanted to create one. So she joined forces with the Salzaras Cartel as after the energy storm they had plans to use enhanced humans. Cynthia liked their plans, the ideas they had, and with her own powers she could easily help keep enhanced humans under their control. A deal was struck and now she runs with the Salzaras Cartel.
