Could there maybe be some sort of magitek equipment that one would need in order to be able to focus enough Lumium to actually summon these great spirits? So technically anyone could probably do it, but they would need this magitek to even be able to focus enough Lumium to pull it off. May set up some interesting story as well. Just a thought to mitigate some of the guess work.
