At his remark about a feathery pain in his arse, Kay had to raise an eyebrow in curiosity wondering what on earth he possibly meant. "Huh? What are you on about? WHose a feathery pain in your arse?" she asked him, wondering who he was talking about. It seemed she really was learning more and more about people he knew, and it was seeming to her that she wasn't the only feathered winged one he knew, which truly did pique her intrigue. The fact John said 'he' in his last statement, told her at least he didn't mean her which she didn't get that impression anyway, but it did indeed confirm to her that she wasn't the only who could be winged he knew. She was about to say one more thing when the surroundings including her seemed to just pause and Manny did indeed show up, standing next to Kay and looking between John and Kay before landing his eyes upon John once more. "Well I never thought the rumours to be true, but it seems it is. YOu have bagged yourself a phoenix John!" he said in a tone that was somewhere between arrogant and impressed. 

As they went, Chas stayed close to Serena to make sure he'd be able to catch her if she should fall. He told her how to the wiping of the rune and when the red light started flashing again on the disabled cameras, he knew they were back online. Once outside, he helped her sit on a wall. "Just take your time Serena, it's okay" he told her before giving John a text to say they were done, Serena was just catching her breath but they were okay and will be on their way back soon enough.
