Geralt of Rivia
Bottomless Sea Lvl 7 (45/70) -> Lvl 7 (46/70) Word Count: 353 words Geralt crossed his arms at Nadia's unnecessary explanation of elevators, shaking his head. "This is like no elevator I've ever seen. Frankly, it might actually be safer than the ones we have." Considering that this elevator was in the middle of a tube and went who-knows how far into the ocean, that was actually saying a lot. When it activated, Geralt's steel sword left its sheath with a hiss, the Witcher having drawn the blade on instinct, angling the weapon at the elevator shaft as the platform ascended, only for the tension to disappear from his body almost instantly when he saw the mutated, insulting creatures resembling humans. Looking them over, he felt a mixture of pity and anger swelling within him, which paused when they were addressed by the strangely armored man who appeared on the wall. Geralt looked to the others, who reacted as though this was normal. So he just went with it. Some kind of projection, it seemed. This person referring to the place as their sealab and those...things...as Tubeman made the anger spike as his face fell into a scowl. He didn't like this. It reminded him far too much of the Trials. He remembered how Yen's plan to restore Uma had made the other Wolves feel, especially Lambert. Some secrets were best left forgotten. Of course, this Tyl Regor person just continued, obviously proud of his accomplishments. And that favor can be me not killing you where you stand, Geralt wanted to say. Wisely, however, he kept his mouth shut and let the others speak. It seemed they were all of a similar mind. "Frankly, I'd love nothing more to go down there and make sure that monster never creates another 'Tubeman' again, but we've more pressing matters to deal with." Geralt's voice was tense, his words coming quickly and angrily. "I take back what I said yesterday, that ship is clearly the worst option available to us." He couldn't speak to the merits of the other plans. All he knew was that he wanted to be away from here, as quickly as possible.
