Alonzo rolled up the sleeves of his hoodie, tattoos exposed, and pushed his glasses further up his nose before taking the guy’s arm gently in his hand. He felt the fluttering of nerves in his stomach but took a deep breath to try and calm them as much as he could. He had an actual use now, no chance to mess this one up. His eyebrows furrowed with concentration, fingers of his other hand flexing as they tingled. ”Sure did a number on this but it could be worse. No one’s at fault though, just wrong place, wrong time. Nothing for anyone to kick themselves over.” As he spoke, the burn started to slowly fade. The burn was large enough to leave a faint scar, and he hadn’t got a proper handle on this new power enough to make it disappear completely, but it would fade quicker than usual and was definitely better than if it had been untreated. ”S’alright though, look? Gone... more or less.” He gave him another brief smile and stepped away, flexing the tingling from his fingers; the newer scent of lavender far overpowering the lemon from before. ”She’s cute, what’s her name? Alonzo asked curiously, eyeing up the cause of the whole fiasco. ”And yours, actually?” He added quickly, cursing his lack of manners. His grandmother would have his head if she could hear him.
