And here we go. Let me know if there's anything that should change. I actually would like some suggestions on other drawbacks or issues for overuse of her quirk, as I'm drawing a bit of a blank. She can either reduce it to next to nothing, making her target very easy to accelerate with very little force, or increase it to extreme levels and make an object near-immovable if at rest, or near-unstoppable if already moving. She cannot apply her quirk to her own body. Honokaโ€™s quirk can easily be mistaken for other abilities, due to its versatile nature. She can, for instance, easily lift massive objects by simply reducing their inertia until their effective weight is small enough for her to handle, and just as easily throw them (and once sheโ€™s not touching them, they return to their full normal mass). She can also easily stop something by the same principle, even if thereโ€™s no way she should be able to. While she cannot fly, she can cause objects to โ€œfloatโ€ in midair as long as sheโ€™s touching them and climb them as a result. She can only use her powers offensively through some other object, although she typically isnโ€™t picky, as just about anything can be a dangerous projectile or unstoppable melee weapon in her hands. Defensively, she can stop just about any physical blow the moment it touches her, either by direct application of her powers, or by increasing the inertia of her clothes to absorb most of the force of the impact. However, she has no natural defenses against energy-based attacks of any sort. ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง Honoka Oda is a second year student at Eirei academy. As a student, she tends to have an air of being particularly ordinary. She doesnโ€™t brag or stand out much, although she does enjoy using her powers, and often uses them casually as a way to practice. Sheโ€™s the sort of person to see every quirk in an overall positive light and look for reasons theyโ€™re cool or useful. Either sheโ€™s easily impressed or is something of a strategist. Despite what one might expect from her heroic moniker, Honoka tends to keep a cool head in most situations, and carefully consider her options when she can. She isnโ€™t the sort to run off half-cocked, and when she acts, she does so with determination. While she can shout on occasion, she isnโ€™t the sort to call her attacks and tends to fight with quiet grace rather than showboating style. Honoka prefers to use her abilities for search and rescue and similar operations, and tries to avoid using them on people, either directly or indirectly, due to accidents sheโ€™s caused in the past while she had less control over her powers. ๐‹๐ž๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ Honoka had a fairly ordinary early life. Her quirk, while powerful, was originally very poorly controlled, leading to a fair share of accidents at times. The series of incidents involving Honoka and her powers, like a baseball thrown way too fast here, going way too fast on a bike, or stopping a vehicle caused some problems for Honokaโ€™s family at times, and also the occasional encounter with the local heroes. Inspired by her childhood encounters with heroes, Honoka chose to pursue the path of one. She started practicing with her quirk to better control it, and tended to show restraint, not using her powers at all when she knew her control wasnโ€™t enough. She worked hard, learning a little of everything she thought sheโ€™d need as a hero and training physically. Eventually, she managed to get into Eirei academy, much to her own surprise. [/hider]
