Rough draft so I can just throw my hat in the ring. I will be working on it later. Spoken from the Emperor down to the lowly recruit in the army. Formed from several of old earths main languages High Laconic: Only spoken by the Nobles and diplomats Laconic Script: The written language of the empire reminiscent of korean or Japanese from the old world [/sub] --- [sub](This is probably a good place to insert a flag or other representative image)[/sub] --- Planet Name and Description: [sub]Pyrrhus: Pyrrhus is a world much like Earth, if the earth was covered in the occasional roaming and devastating electrical storms rendering most of the surface hazardous to most nonnative forms of life caught in the open for short periods of time. The shores of the six continents are often lush with local flora and fauna supported by the near constant rain stroms that rack the wooded shores. The Moon of Tanith: the first colony of the empire, rich with ore. Home to the first orbital dock, and the headquarters to the Imperial navy. Orbits Pyrrhus, home to the native species called the Lira[/sub] History: [sub]When the colony arrived on Pyrrhus, Life was far from ideal. The weather made any large scale agriculture impossible as The storms would destroy the crops. With very little in the way of the manufacturing there was a shortage of materials across all sectors from screws to medication. The first five years saw large amounts of deaths, relativly speak, as many straved or fell victim to the electrical storms. Roughly half way through the 6th year The colony would finally build its first city, the City of Corinth. Built of the sacrifices of thousands who died mined, processed and built the city. Slowly the people of the colony began to adapt. Farms were built under ground, funded by the three main factions of the time. The first of these factions was formed from the in land settlements, The peoples union of settlements, consisting of many of the planet's poorest citizens aimed to usher in a "peoples revolution". Even though they were considered least powerful of the three terms of political or military might, they held a large portion of the population under their influence due to their message. During the next 270 years they would prove to be fanatical in their ideology. The PRA would fight to the last man and woman, making every battle costly.[/sub] Culture and Society: [sub](How do they live? Anything from ritual cannibals, to a surveillance state dystopia, to an integrated hivemind.)[/sub] --- Governance and Politics: [sub](Like the government form field, but more room for detail. If your Colony has changed in such a way that it doesn't even have a government or politics anymore, this is also a good place to talk about that.)[/sub] Technology Overview: [sub](What have your people invented? Or have they forgotten anything?)[/sub] Military Overview: [sub](This is the space to talk about any offensive capabilities you have. Given that most of these Colonies have been essentially stranded by themselves for three centuries, I don't imagine anyone has a large "conquer other planets" level fleet yet. But maybe your Colony has been in civil war for a hundred years, and has built up an impressive military in that time. Or maybe they even had to fend off a genuine alien invasion.)[/sub] --- Additional Info: [sub](Anything else you want to include that there isn't a spot for up there.)[/sub]
