Grikgar /Grik/ Seeker
// Unggoy Ultra // Demolitions and Artillery // Location: Enemy Stronghold A quick but easy shot, most high ranking grunts were taught how to target the weak points on human vehicles. Their engines were always exposed, even a well-placed grenade or plasma shot from a pistol had the ability to take out an engine or disable it for long enough to cause enough damage. The grunt kept his guard up and his weapon on his shoulder as the pelican came to a stop. More humans rushed out of it including their target. What seemed like blind fire forced him back into cover behind some crates as their commander fled. He was trying to use himself as bait so that the other humans could get free of the area. Smart, this human tactic he had seen been used before but it was futile as the fleet was quick to intercept the fleeing civilian transport. Grik was not sure if it would be the same here. There was still small arms fire in the area making it loud and distracting for the most part. That combined with the man yelling and the other elite fighting with another rebel made a good distraction from the back line where Grikgar had been hiding. He could see that the man intended to kill himself in order to get what he wants and that would mean that the mission overall would be a failure. The Unggoy ultra was determined not going to let that happen. One thing he quickly realized during his service was that no one expect a grunt to be much of a threat. This alone got him through more than a few close encounters with death. In this moment with all the distractions he knew what he could do. Quickly he dropped all of his ammunition and weapons except for his knife and activated his cloaking while still hiding behind the crate. He was well aware that this human could possibly have some sense of motion tracking but he took his helmet off, still charging or going around the crates wasn’t a viable option for him. Instead Grik moved quickly along the wall to the edge of the platform and dropped carefully over the ledge. This was going to be tricky he was well aware but one thing grunts where always good at was climbing even across smooth surfaces. With this and the distraction of the sounds of battle and the elite fighting the other humans Grikgar quickly but quietly maneuvered himself around the edge with the aid of his cloaking. Making his movements coincide with the sounds around them. The Unggoy would continue this until he was effectively right behind the human. He would let the others know he was in position by flicking the responder tag on their IFF tag to green. The target wasn’t the human himself but the gun in his hand all Grik had to do was get his hands on the weapon and pointed away from the man even if it meant he would get hit in the grapple he was sure the others would be on him quickly.
