AnnaBeth and Cason
“This is the address.” Cason whispered, looking around, “Did they give some sort of sign as to what we are looking for?” “No. But I feel like I need to get out.” “Get out?! I don’t even know where the hell you are going! Annabeth listen to me!”, Cason cried out, as she put the truck in park and opened her door. With no answer, she exited the vehicle and took off across the parking lot, “Dammit!” With a huff, he exited the truck, catching a glimpse of himself in the dirty truck window. His eyes were black, almost as if out of control. Closing them tightly, he took a few deep breaths. He couldn’t afford her seeing him, this way. Not yet. She would run. He chased the swung open door, growling as he struggled to blink away his black eyes. With every blink they flashed back and forth. She was already in the elevator and the doors were shutting in front of her. Such a reckless idiot… “Annabeth, what are you..?!”, he yelled, sprinting for the closing elevator doors. He was too late. The doors were closed and the elevator was moving. Growling once more, he peered around until he found the stairwell, bursting through the door and up the stairs. Luckily, he could hear her, as she talked to herself. He could hear her footsteps. He could teleport to her, but she would panic. When he heard the elevator stop and open once more, he exited the stairwell, quickly grabbing her on his way out the door. Pushing her against a wall, he shoved his body weight against her. “Stop this! Enough is enough. I’m not letting you show up, half cocked, following voices to find some guy we don’t even know. Let’s just go home…”, he whispered, his breath warm against her nose. “No, Case. I can’t. The visions are getting worse and maybe he knows what they are. Maybe he knows what to do with them. Get off me…”, Annabeth whispered, shoving at him. She slipped below his arm and up to the door behind him, her target. She raised a shaky fist and placed it against the door, before knocking three times, “Sam Winchester?”
